Often times when I post an artist’s music, it is the last we see of them. They could be a one hit wonder, not release anything else worthy of posting, or a million other things. KYLE’s presence on Fresh New Tracks has been anything but infrequent. He appears often, and he always brings the heat. Last week, the man released his first ever album, and let me tell you, it’s phenomenal. I’ve been a fan of KYLE’s music since the beginning of last summer, and I knew this 20 year old would be doing big things within a year. And he proved me right. After giving us the first single “Young Love” off his upcoming album, Huey Mack finally announces the album title. Pretending Perfection is expected to release this Fall. The rest of the details will be announced over the next month. Get ready.

BT has been one of the most prolific trance (though his sound has evolved) producers over the past 10-15 years, not only making music for others (Paul Oakenfold is one name) and collaborating with countless artists, but also releasing 8 full length albums. “A Song Across The Wire” is his 9th album, where we see some of his latest singles and his progressive trance sound, but also a venture into dubstep. It will be released August 16th. Pre-order on iTunes or at Armada shop.
Orjan Nilsen has been a staple of the trance scene for years now, releasing some of the biggest tracks in trance. His album wlll try and take his ability to make monster singles and create one cohesive journey that trance is so adept at doing. It will be released August 30th, 2 weeks after BT’s album. Pre-order on iTunes at Armada shop.
Ok, the Dash Berlin album preview is a bit misleading because he is just releasing a deluxe edition of #musicislife, but there is a whole second CD filled with mostly new remixes, 2 new singles (though one was recently released) and some live video. The deluxe version will be released August 23rd, one week after BT’s album so get ready for some outstanding trance on Fridays this month. Pre-order on iTunes or at Armada shop. In typical Kanye form, Yeezus’s latest video was released without much warning, about an hour after a tweet regarding the video surfaced. After receiving a leak of the video a couple weeks ago, after a few heads rolled in camp Kanye, the REAL, official video has been released. Obviously the video isn’t able to be embedded, because it’s Kanye, so I will direct you over here to his website to watch it. The video is interesting, artistically cool but not something aesthetically pleasing to my taste. What we expected from the first visuals off critically acclaimed and critically hated album, Yeezus.

Stromae, the Belgian producer that was slept on until Kanye West rapped over “Alors On Danse” and the track went viral, dropped an awesome video for his track “Papaoutai.” We haven’t heard much from the Belgian producer since the release of his first album “Cheese” but I am glad he released this single as a follow up to the album. “Papaoutai” is the right song for the summer, with that island sound, full of energy, and perfect for the clubs. For all you French speakers, notice the clever play on words with the hook “Papaoutai” phonetically sounding like African dialect, but literally translating to “Papa Ou T’ai” or “Dad Where Are You” in English.

Electro, House, Videos | Calvin Harris ft Ayah Marar – Thinking About You (Video)

Calvin Harris just dropped a massive music video for his upcoming single “Thinking About You” featuring the lovely Ayah Marar, and folks this video is legendary. There are actually two videos on YouTube at the moment due to a few glimpses of nudity, and a steamy sex scene in a private jet, so if you’re feeling risque and a nice pair of buttox doesn’t bother you, feel free to enjoy the explicit version. I’m still trying to figure out what the story line behind this video is, but nonetheless I can’t help but be a fan of the cinematography, and the epic shots… Oh and if you’re wondering who Ayah Marar is or where she comes from, she’s one of Calvin’s closest friends, and currently has an album out called “The Real” which I invite all of you to check out, as I’m sure we’ll be hearing more of her as “Thinking About You” climbs up the charts, and into your favorite Top 40 radio stations…
