Progressive House | R3hab & NERVO & Ummet Ozcan – Revolution (Moiez Remix)

I have never quite come to a conclusion on whether or not I find the Nervo twins attractive but I’m leaning towards no. I am leaning towards yes however when I discuss whether Moiez is one of the top progressive house producers in the Vancouver area, which I never do. His newest release is a remix of R3hab, Nervo and Ummet Ozcan’s “Revolution” and honestly, it’s good. He keeps a lot of elements from the original but adds a melodic touch that the original was lacking, primarily in regards to the drop.

Preview, Progressive House | Adrian Lux & Marcus Schossow – Wild Child (Mysto & Pizzi And Moiez Remix) [Preview]

On the heels of his first Cr2 Records release “City On A Hill“, Moiez was called in by NYC producers, Mysto & Pizzi to help them out with this remix for Adrian Lux & Marcus Schossow’s recent single “Wild Child. The original has been a big hit for Adrian Lux & Marcus Schossow this fall, crossing over into trance and house realms. The three of them give the track a slight big room spin with clear trance influences, while still keeping elements of the original. Look for this December 20th on Ultra Records.
Progressive House | Moiez feat. Anoop Desai – City On A Hill

There are not many progressive house tracks that come out these days that are good enough to get me to move from where ever I am, usually your mother’s house, into my bed (where I write all my posts) to write a post about it. This track however is. Moiez has been a regular here for a while now so I’m sure most of you are aware of the type of stuff we are used to hearing from him. When I first heard “City On A Hill” I was blown away at how good it is. Everything from the vocals to the slow key play to the atmospheric drop is great. This is without a doubt Moiez’s best work and I hope he can manage to hold the quality of his future releases to the same level.

Progressive House | Justin Timberlake – Blue Ocean Floor (Moiez Remix featuring Anoop Desai)
Posted by Middy on October 8, 2013
Moiez has been quiet lately, notably since we premiered his remix of “Reload“, but he is back to the remix front with his take on one of Justin Timberlake’s recent tracks from the “20/20 Experience Pt. 1”. Well, technically this is a cover of that track by Anoop Desai, and then Moiez remixed it, so remix squared. The Vancouver native takes the strengths of the original / cover and adds a soothing, trancey melody, much like some of his older works like “Flight”, which is now being repackaged into a “3LAU collab” and rereleased with Justin’s name on it.
Progressive House | Moiez ft Dellara – Over You (Stars Above Remix)

Elevating our ears to another height of musical emotion, Joshua Bull or Stars Above, completely captures, the essence of the original creation from Moiez, all whilst still giving it his own flair and unique edit. Moiez’s Over You, with Dellara on vocals, a forthright hit on its own is drawn into the trance arena, with progressive synth stabs and chord progressions building to one monumental statement of a drop. This track is what makes music so great, you don’t just hear this one, you feel it. Please do this track a favor and don’t play it over your computer speakers.
