Posted by Tay on August 13, 2015
The tropical wave has not stopped this summer and we are definitely not mad about that. The latest to add his sun-soaked melodies into the bunch is Philadelphia’s Sweekuh with his remix of Connell Cruise’s “Forever.” Steering away from the atypical house backbone, Sweekuh implants a fluttering array of hi-hats and kicks to keep the pace swirling under his pan flute lead and vocals that stay on top and in the spotlight. To keep the summer vibes flowin’, download Sweekuh’s remix of “Forever” below.

Tropical House | Soak Up Some Sun With The Rooftop Boys’ Remix of The Griswolds’ “If You Wanna Stay”
Posted by Tay on July 9, 2015
There’s just something special about summer. The sun is shining brighter, the weather is getting warmer, everyone just seems happier and friendlier, and there are pool parties galore. There’s nothing in the world that can beat a pool party with some great friends, great drinks, and great music – and we’re here to provide you with the perfect soundtrack to your summer. Much like ice cold Coronas with lime, The Rooftop Boys were made for summer. The NYC-based duo of Bender and Hyberbits are experts at sun-soaked melodies and laidback vibes, and they certainly shine through in the duo’s latest remix of The Griswold’s “If You Wanna Stay.” The indie pop croons of the lead vocalist perfectly complement the summer-ready melodies and groovy bass lines of The Rooftop Boys, and if you take one listen, you’ll know that this track was made for the summer.
Tropical House | Sterkøl Starts Summer with “Can’t Let You Go”
Posted by Gandhi on June 12, 2015
When I clicked play on this track I instantly loved the vibe. Good vocals? Check. Solid Production? Check. Then at 1:27 that saxophone hit me. Guys, I don’t know what it is about tropical house tracks infused with saxophone. SUMMER IS HERE!! I have half a mind to quit my day job, move out to the mountains of North Carolina, throw on some white flowing robes, and just break it down to this song.
