I know I posted this before, but it got lost in the server switch. This collaboration between Avicii and Nicky Romero that was hinted at on twitter recently has recently surfaced at Nocturnal Wonderland and it is going to be huge. No word on release date yet. These Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman remixes are some quality progressive house songs. The first is an absolute bomb and I have had it on repeat ever since I got it. The second remix is another bomb with some female vocals and uplifting synths.

Fedde Le Grand who just makes hits, has another on his hands with this remix of Coldplay’s recent single “Paradise” off of their recent album. No word on release, but this will be huge when it does release. Benny Bennasi is back with another remix and I am really feeling this one. He strays from his normal sound that he has beaten us over the head with and gone to a more progressive sound. The vocals from Florence and the Machine work perfectly, though Benny got lazy and didn’t clean them up, over the synths and bass lines from Bennasi.

This Tim Mason song is going to be massive. No word on release date, but the production is unbelievable. Tim Mason the Manchester native signed to Size Records, delivers us a model of how to make a progressive house remix of an indie song with his rendering of PNAU’s “Solid Ground”. The vocals are perfectly integrated within a melodic build that comes together in a synth and bass driven drop. Get this on Beatport HERE.

Shave it on October 4th, Zedd’s orders. Here are two remixes for Avicii’s massive hit, “Fade Into Darkness”, that recently went gold in Sweden. I am feeling the Albin Myers remix more because it keeps the signature piano and synth build with a heavier synth drop and a driving bass line. The MYNC Stadium remix is more like the original and adds a little more synth to the song, but does not have as big a drop as the Albin Myers remix.

Tristan Garner kills it with “Overdrive”, can’t wait for the release. This Laidback Luke remix is not what you normally expect from him with his electro dutch sound, but this is much more melodic and euphoric, more along the lines of the original mix of the song. It is a nice change of pace for Laidback Luke and is great to see how diverse his productions can be. Get it on Beatport HERE.

This is a great remix of “Happy Violence”, taking the heavy electro and making it heavier. He adds his own flavor to it with a more interesting bass line and a few slight changes to this electro heater.
