Mashups | Mother Earth Remixes – Rolling Back to Cali
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 13, 2011
If you’ve given Kap Slap’s latest party banging project the once over, you’re probably ready for some mellow mashups to rebalance your ears. Mother Earth and co-signed Young Church, aren’t your average 1 v 1 blenders. Instead, these two spice up classic tracks like Sublimes April 29th with verses from OG’s like Tupac and Biggie. The result? A chill, hip new version of the originals.

Posted by Juicebox on July 11, 2011
Fresh New Tracks is proud to announce were sponsoring Kap Slap’s highly anticipated mixtape, Audio Appropriation. The mixtape consists of most of his previous singles remastered/reedited plus the same amount of brand new material. After a sneak peak listen, we all agreed upon one conclusion…Audio Appropriation is the definition of party music. It’s the mixtape of the summer, it’s the mixtape you throw on at every party, and it’s the mixtape that just set the bar for mashup artists. Check out our favorite track below, and download the entire mixtape HERE.

Mashups | There’s Something About Us Under The Sheets (The Knocks Mashup)
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 8, 2011
These are not your typical party banger mashups, they’re a bit more alternative and funky. The Knocks one is a serious jammer.

Mashups | DJ Squints Mashups
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 6, 2011
Here are a few up-beat summer time mashups that incorporate some dope old school tracks. Personally, I think DJ Squints comes firing out of the gates on his best foot with his funky fresh track “Shades of Booty”. Mashups | Dotcom – Look At The Blow

From Ke$ha to Porter Robinson to Chris Brown, Dotcom pretty much covered all of the bases on this one.
Electro, Mashups | Afrojack, Mochi Beats, Fedde le Grand, Sex Ray Vision
Posted by Middy on June 29, 2011
Mashups and house in the same post? Why not? The first song Afrojack apparently made on tour. It is a very good song and is very impressive for a song made on the road, but it sounds like it could have used some more attention, but that is just me.

I usually wouldn’t be posting a mashup with Levels because it amazing the way it is, but Mochi Beats makes the song more party friendly throwing some on lyrics from a whole host of artists that flow quite nicely over the beat.

Fedde has been on absolute fire lately with whatever he puts out taking over beatport charts and in almost every DJs set. This remix only continues that by adding that little extra to a great beat and a little unique flavor to it.

Sex Ray Vision are more known for their remixes, but they have some very good original productions, including this one they just released. It has great piano, synth work and bass, its all there.
