House, Mashups | DJ Trademark – Electro Season (EP)
Posted by Juicebox on July 30, 2012
The question has been lingering around the blogsphere for the last few months now…who will be next to capitalize on the mashup market and achieve the quick rise to fame that Kap Slap & 3LAU have? With the release of his latest EP, “Electro Season,” I think DJ Trademark just answered that question for us. Compared to previous releases, this entire EP is on a different level. Everything from the overall creativity to the technicality of each track; you can tell how much DJ Trademark has improved and really perfected the art. The EP features a wide variety of different electronic tracks perfectly blended with everyone’s favorite top 40 vocals. Hands will be in the air, dance floors will be filled, and the season will be electro (as long as DJ Trademark has anything to do with it).
Mashups | Matthew LeFace, Dave Silcox & Matt Nash – Walking on a King (Dstar Bootleg)
Posted by Jess on July 29, 2012
It has been a minute since I’ve heard a mashup/bootleg using Empire of the Sun’s “Walking on a Dream”. There was a moment when you couldn’t browse the internet without hearing a new remix, mashup or a song sampling it, so when I first heard Dstar bootleg, I was a bit hesitant about it. Nevertheless, what I found was an amazing bootleg. Matthew LeFace, Matt Nash & Dave Silcox’s “King” is a banger in itself and the added vocals from Empire of the Sun take it to another level. This one is a must download.
Mashups | DOSVEC – Summer Social EP
Posted by CHAZZZ on July 18, 2012
It’s one of those weeks for me already, staying up doing nothing until 4am followed by groaning awake at 7 to head straight into long dull days at my summer job. It was time for some pick-me-up songs, and DOSVEC has delivered with his “Summer Social EP.” This epic mix of songs is the perfect remedy for a Summer sloth, whether you’re clocking in as an intern, tuning out by the pool or raging with your Mom… Hopefully not as sad as that last part. Make sure to download this and let DOSVEC help you through these slow hot days. Make sure to hit the jump for another song and some visuals.

Mashups | 5 & A Dime- Change (Dillon Francis & Diplo ft. Porter Robinson Bootleg)
Posted by ATexas on July 9, 2012
5 & A Dime is back with a vengeance just crushing it on this track. With festival season in full swing the amount of mixes we are getting is unreal, but all in all 5 & A Dime is killing it. With his mass releases 2 weeks ago this track is just a straight good remix of some solid EDM and dubstep.

This is a big week for DOSVEC and he is kicking it off by dropping the track, Somebody Nasty, from his new Summer Social EP. Once again, DOSVEC delivers absolute fire with up-tempo instrumentals that compliment Notorious BIG perfectly. Yes, we all know that Somebody I Used To Know has been remixed a million times but trust me, this is one of the best. Make sure to support DOSVEC on Facebook HERE because he will be dropping tracks from his new Summer Social EP all week.

Mashups | Madeon – Minimix (Annie Mac Radio 1)
Posted by Jess on June 24, 2012
Madeon redefines what it means to make a “mashup” (again) with his latest minimix for Annie Mac’s show on Radio 1. Like his “Pop Culture” mashup, most of the tracks are sampled in really small ways, sometime under a second, using the samples as an instrument. The result is, as expected, amazing. A mashup can’t get any better than this!
Check out all the tracks he used in this latest mashup after the jump.
