Mashups | Stafford Brothers – Bootlegs Vol. 1
Posted by Jess on August 29, 2012
The Stafford Brothers have already made their name as Australia’s #1 DJ’s and are hoping to take their success stateside. With the support from Lil Wayne (love or hate Weezy, he does have 40 million fans on Facebook), you can expect that big things are ahead for these two. They recently decided to let loose some dance floor weapons that they’ve been rocking out all over America in their latest Bootleg pack. Take listen to the set below and grab a copy of each one.
Mashups | Nammo – Carly Rae’s Good Hangover
Posted by Mach on August 29, 2012
Nammo is kind of like Houdini when it comes to releases, he releases something good then he disappears for a while. Well all that is about to change. I can’t tell you all of Nammo’s secrets, but I promise this perfectionist doesn’t plan to disappoint. For now you will just have to wait while listening to his newest Mashup. Nammo’s goal when creating a mashup is to first, make sure it is party and dance floor ready. Second, he wants familiarity with the vocals to allow people to sing-a-long and enjoy themselves more. This is a great track to add to your final days of Summer playlist.
SAMPLES USED
Owl City Ft. Carly Rae Jepson – Good Time
Taio Cruz – Hangover (Hardwell Remix)
Afrojack – Lionheart
LMFAO Ft. Lil Jon – Shots
Mashups | DOSVEC – SIO (Summer Is Over)
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 27, 2012
DOSVEC is back at it again with his latest mash-up, “SIO” (Summer Is Over). I didn’t need another reminder that summer is over but this track is perfect to combat the end summer blues. A nice walk down memory lane, this track features some of the top tracks from previous years blended with hits that exploded this summer. Be sure to grab this free download and have a great semester everyone.
Mashups | Robyn x Joe Garston – Dancing Forever (Dave Edwards Edit)
Posted by Jess on August 24, 2012
Dave Edwards just dropped the first in a series of mashups/re-edits from him. In “Dancing Forever”, he combines Robyn’s “Dancing on My Own”, Joe Garston’s “Forever”, Kyle Minogue’s “Love At First Sight”, Avicii’s “Fade Into Darkness” and some original production to create an exceptional track. Dave Edwards has never made a bad track in my opinion and this is no different. His synths and melodies are unmatched and Robyn’s vocals fit perfectly on this latest one. Grab the track for free below.
Mashups | DOSVEC – Don’t You Worry Child
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 14, 2012
Swedish House Mafia has yet to drop their new track “Don’t You Worry Child” but DOSVEC comes thru and creates a mashup that will get your party bumping this weekend. Snag this free download to help celebrate those internships and summer jobs ending and “classes” (parties, rush, new freshmen girls and college football) starting up again soon. Be sure to support DOSVEC on Facebook and Twitter.
Mashups | King Fantastic x Skrillex – Hollyrock Jam Session (Troublemaker Edit)
Posted by Jess on August 12, 2012
Although, it is unfortunate that Killer Reese One, one half of King Fantastic, was recently sentenced to four years in state prison (will be released in 22 months), it isn’t stopping Troublemaker from continuing King Fantastic. You can expect a new remix EP for their recently released SocioPoliticalPimpTalk EP, as well as a new mixtape, singles, and videos coming soon. In the meantime, check out this sick edit of King Fantastic’s track “Hollywood Jam Session” that Troublemaker laced with Skrillex’s “Trung” instrumental.
Mashups | DOSVEC – Drank
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 6, 2012
If you’re not a Twitter fiend you might not know that “Drank” by Kendrick Lamar dropped late last week. DOSVEC spotted it early and has already thrown together a filthy mash-up blending “Drank” with the Candyland remix of the popular remix of “Sandstorm” by Candyland, creating the perfect song to combat end-of-summer blues. Kendrick Lamar and Darude (Candyland Remix) might seem like unlikely collaborators, but in DOSVEC’s skilled hands the mashup really soars. Grab this track today and make your Monday morning feel like a Friday night. And as always, support him on Twitter and Facebook to get updates on upcoming projects.
Also, be sure to check out the awesome visuals for this song after the jump. READ ON >>
