Bass, House | Kalipzo Tries Out G-House on “I Like Cake”

Los Angeles based Producer and DJ Kalipzo returns with a booming new single simply titled “Cake”. The low key Dubstep charged G-house banger is filled with bass and high energy! Every so often you hear a handful of vocal chops sprinkled throughout the record, who’s voice I’m assuming is Kalipzo herself. Her production matches her DJing intensity, flowing from dark and groovy to bright and hype. Kalipzo is a proud bisexual, and a strong advocate and activist for women’s and LGBTQ rights. “Cake” is a great introduction to the West Coast artists catalog if you’re not yet familar with it. Check out Kalibzo’s new single above now!

Electro-House, House | Birthdayy Partyy Take On Deadmau5 & Rob Swire With New Remix

Posted by on July 30, 2018

Birthdayy Partyy keeps the heat going strong in 2018 with another amazing remix. Instead of dipping back in time for another throwback, they’ve flipped Deadmau5 and Rob Swire’s “Monophobia” that just came out earlier this month. The twins show undoubtedly why they deserve your attention with this remix. They’ve got a ton of great tracks, but this one sticks out as one of their best. I wouldn’t be surprised if Deadmau5 and Rob themselves give this one some love and praise. It’s that good.

Bass, House | Phenatiks Keep Dark House Style Going With Original “Drop It”

Posted by on June 22, 2018

Two Cali-based Icon Collective artists are in the depths of a bass-house journey as their somewhat haunting, certainly mysterious singles continue to creep up. “Drop Out” is next in a line from a recent herd that seem to come from a common place. PhilZen and Jinjun – the two soloist who make up the group – have been toying with the idea of Phenatiks as a duo since last year. 2018 has seen a continuation of the idea for the two and increase in support from a decent range of taste-makers. “Drop It” is set to be a substantial addition to the catalog as Phenatiks keep hitting the beat in more ways than one.
