Kap Slap & 3LAU, the current frontrunners of the mashup game, decided to bless everyone with an early Halloween treat and drop an “EDM Mayhem” playlist to help you rage this Halloween. Everything from Swedish House Mafia to Dada Life is covered, even Datsik got a spot on this essential playlist. If I had to pick anyone to make me an EDM playlist, I’d go to Kap Slap & 3LAU first, Tiesto second.

I have a treat for all of you house fans and DJs compliments of Tristan Garner. He rerecorded his set from Queen Paris and released it on soundcloud. It is chock full of unreleased songs and incredible bootlegs that he put together. DJ-Set, Electro | R3hab – ADE R3hab Showcase 2011

If Avicii wasn’t so popular, I would say that R3hab would be the rising star of the year. He has released so many amazing original tracks on his own, remixes and collaborations this year, it is staggering. He is also able to keep a high level of quality with the quantity of tracks being released, which is hard to do. He has made the bleepy dutch sound accessible to many more people and is still evolving as an artist. The mix was made for Amsterdam Dance Event next weekend and all 15 of the songs in this hour long mix have been made this year. 2011 isn’t even over and he could do something huge in the next two months, but next year should be something else from him. Who thinks we can get to 400 likes? I do. If we get there by Friday, I will drop my newest mix, filled with this weeks hottest releases along with some BANGING oldies but goldies. Friday is the goal, but even if we don’t make it by then, the minute facebook hits 400 the mix drops. SO LETS GET IT!

Thanks to everyone who liked the Facebook page! As promised, I am posting the set I put on for the wonderful crowd at Arlene’s Grocery this past Tuesday night. They dug the house music, and waited patiently for the main act, Timeflies. AS it was a live set, there may be a quirk here and there so please forgive me. Otherwise, ENJOY!
