One of the hardest working dance artists around, EDX, is always on his game, and this year, he’s stepped it up as he’s seemed to pull ahead with relentless output of both originals, remixes, radio shows – all while he’s constantly on tour. Up until now, he’s released around 3 new originals (with two more on the way) and three remixes – one of which is his remix of Sam Fedlt’s “Show Me Love” that was one of the most “Shazam-ed” songs in Ibiza this past summer season. Additionally, he’s still running his popular weekly mix show, No Xcuses, that’s 230+ episodes deep, which is quite the feat when you take into account everything else he tackles.
EDX’s No Xcuses radio show is also an internationally renowned party, which has graced nightclubs from Zurich, to Miami, to Las Vegas, and abroad. These have been heralded as some of EDX’s best events, and they’re set to come to Los Angeles’ Create Nightclub next Saturday, November 7th, and San Francisco’s Ruby Skye on Friday, December 11th. Who says festival season is coming to an end? After a stunning renovation, Foundation Nightclub is re-opening, and they’re not wasting any time in getting things back in motion. Tonight, they’re bringing Ghastly and The M Machine, and the rest of the grand opening weekend includes Kaskade, A-Trak, Hook N Sling, and more. Next week, TomorrowWorld’s highly anticipated third edition is going down next week, and those of you who are camping in DreamVille are in for a special treat. Last week, Alex and Drew, aka The Chainsmokers, made a little stop at Shaquille O’Neill’s mansion as some of us saw on social media, and the cat is now out of the bag. One word: TomorrowWorld. Shaq aka DJ Diesel is headed to the Chattahoochee Hills for his festival debut at the It’s A Trap! stage, and The Chainsmokers decided Shaq needed a quick lesson in the ultimate DJ essentials. After Shaq learns the proper ways to jump, fist-pump, hold the mixer, and even crowd-surf, which didn’t turn out as well for Alex and Drew, Shaq shows off his presence behind the decks before kicking The Chainsmokers out.
