Posted by Middy on March 31, 2014
Producer / DJ / singer / songwriter GOLDHOUSE struck gold with his single “FeelGood” and now is prepared to unveil the remixes for the feel good single. GOLDHOUSE has put his name on official remix efforts for Lady Gaga and Lady Gaga, in part because of his signing to Capitol Music (the power of majors), but now the tables turn on his tune. We are honored to premiere San Francisco based producer / DJ Ken Loi’s remix of “FeelGood”, who keeps the soothing summery vibes of the original and layers a deftly crafted layer over top with a subtle growling low end for club potency. The remix bundle will also include efforts from Pierce Fulton, Chuckie and Zookeeper, so get ready for all of that coming on April 8th. Don’t sleep on this remix from Ken Loi!
Exclusive, Featured, Trap | FNT Exclusive: Havok Roth – Fear
Posted by Middy on March 25, 2014
We first introduced you to Miami native Havok Roth with his “Elastic Heart” remix, but now the trap producer has graduated from remixes to originals. Just in time for the biggest party in dance music taking place right now in his hometown, he drops this huge original that shows his creativity and ability as a producer. He builds the tune around a vocal that Havok Roct says he “found lying around” and a foreboding melody over an energetic low end and intermittent bursts of unremitting 808s. Havok Roth was kind enough to let us premiere this huge tune, so grab it for free here now and be on the look for much more from this fast rising producer.

Exclusive, Featured, Progressive House | FNT Exclusive: Passenger vs Jasmine Thompson – Let Her Go (Peter Brennan & TCUP Remix)
Posted by Middy on March 18, 2014
Yes this tune has been remixed to death ever since it came out, but I implore you give this remix from Peter Brennan & TCUP a chance. Instead of just going with the standard version of the original and remixing that, they use a cover from Jasmine Thompson, which suits what they do with the song much better than the vocals from Passenger. The two producers gradually ease you into the remix with a soft bed of pianos and synth chords that nestle underneath Jasmine Thompson’s vocals before an onslaught of fast paced plucks come at you in the drop. This is a freebee exclusive found only right here, so grab the download now!

Albums, Exclusive, Featured, Progressive House | FNT Premiere: Sgt Slick – Everyday (Dave Winnel Vicious21 Remix) From Vicious 21
Posted by Middy on March 3, 2014
Vicious Recordings is turning 21 this year and celebrate this momentous occasion, they have compiled 21 classics and 21 new remixes of songs that represent the storied history of the label. In a genre that has only been around for about 35 years, it is all to often we see labels, clubs and other institutions fade into obscurity after a short run on top. To remain one of the great labels, riding the highs and lows of the industry and remaining a consistent force at discovering new talent and promoting great music throughout the years. Based in Australia, just a few of the guys the label has helped break include Avicii, Dirty South, Peking Duk, Angger Dimas and many more.
With the compilation coming out tomorrow on Beatport, we are proud to premiere the Dave Winnel remix of Sgt Slick “Everyday”. Those of you who are fans of Kaskade’s compilation albums (raises hand), will recognize the piano-heavy remix by Digital Lab from Dance.Love, but now hometown kid, Dave Winnel takes over the reigns for a remix fit for 2014. The stunning vocal is left intact as Dave Winnel adds a bouncy bass line underneath a bed of synths that are a mix of a throwback to when this tune was originally released and to the sounds of today. Stream the tune below before it comes out tomorrow. Check out the teaser for the compilation below and see the full tracklist after the jump.
