In anticipation of his upcoming Xanaxland project, Silver Medallion just released a brand new DJ mix of 30 minutes of the best Trap out today. If 30 minutes of Trap wasn’t enough for you to want to listen, read what he had to say about the mix below because if that doesn’t make you want to listen, I don’t know what will. It’s day three of fashion week and even though I’m a minor twitter celebrity I still haven’t seen Kanye West pop out and perform at a Ted Baker store yet so I’m pretty disappointed. On the plus side i got to see Icona Pop “DJ” at a pretentious french restaurant, but then someone told me Buddha from Ace of Base was doin a public interpretive performance in meatpacking district but it only ended up being a homeless german man wearing the same smock I saw at the Raf Simons presentation giving out the password to a secret Flosstradamus show behind a Chipotle in chinatown.
Anyway, recorded this mix at a fucking sick rave with all my bros while wearing my fav “I Dub to Fuckstep” t-shirt.” – Silver Medallion

Styles&Complete come through with an insane Trap remix of MGK’s “Wild Boy”. It is worth noting that this is the first “official” remix of track and the DirtySouthElectroSwag duo got the stems directly from MGK cams. Most current Trap is terrible, just because you have never heard of Trap before its recent explosion doesn’t mean you should try to create it. Everyone who has or is planning to create a Trap track please listen to this and take notes. MiMOSA has created the perfect example of good Trap. The beat isn’t Moombahton repetitive, as most recent Trap is, and better reflects its Hip-hop counterpart. The remix is exceptional, JMSN remixes are always an interesting listen for the versatility the vocals hold. MiMOSA gives Trap a good name, if the genre has any chance of survival at this point, his example is the one to follow. If you are a fan of the Trap game and haven’t heard of TNGHT yet, then you need to get to searching. Consisted of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice this dynamic Trap duo has been taking the scene by storm. After a good response from their first EP, lyricists are all over their hot beats. Captain Murphy is the latest to give TNGHT’s track Bugg’n a shot. Right off the start he gives off a Tyler The Creator vibe with his graphic, vulgar lyrics. It seems as though this Odd Future’s style has caught many peoples attention and become a wanted commodity whether you like it or not. You can grab this track as a free download HERE.

Someone in the chatbox asked for more Trap music, so I’m going to deliver. Although, I’m not the biggest fan of the genre, it is growing on me and I have Udachi to thank for that. His Trap remix of Nero’s “Reaching Out” is a monster track and his remix of Silver Medallion’s “Stay Young” is no different as he flips it into a trapped out summer jam. His remix is one of two remixes available on Silver Medallion’s Stay Young EP out now on Beatport.
Tonight at The Box in New York City, Get Right Records & Moodswing360 will be hosting the Single Release Party for “Stay Young”, which will include performances from Silver Medallion, Benzi and DJ Dstar. Just when you thought you had heard all the remixes to Adventure Club’s track featuring Krewella, Rise & Fall, D!RTY AUD!O comes through again with something completely different from the rest. We have heard Krewella’s heavy dubstep remix. We have heard AT DAWN WE RAGE’s fantastic dubstep remix. Now D!RTY AUD!O has rolled through with a one of a kind moombahton-to-trap remix that definitely stands out from the rest. This track has done moombahton justice in my opinion, contributing a completely stylish and original drop that blows my mind every single time I listen to it. The build and progression of the track are top notch and the use of the vocals is excellent. I hate to say this over and over again, but I see great things to come for D!RTY AUD!O in the near future.
