Haunting vocals drip over the deep bass and trapped out drums throughout the EP. I added an extra track for you to hear before downloading, if you’re not completely sold yet, called “Little Fugue”. Holy Ghost! 2 weeks ago released a dope remix of Blood Orange’s “You’re Not Good Enough” and it’s been on repeat all day ever since I saw it sitting on the Hypem chart. Ghost! is currently on tour and you can view the dates on his website here. I personally might have to check him out at Webster Hall on January 10th. Hailing from Montreal, the Canadian producer releases a three track EP on the only label that seems fit for his music, deadmau5’s mau5trap. Eekkoo provides a wide variety of plucks, piano stabs and distorted synths over a common theme of fat bass lines, creating a hypnotic piece of dance music from start to finish. While it may be considered a bit close to “deadmau5 style”, Eekkoo has his own sound that has earned the praise of the big boss himself.
