Havok Roth’s past few remixes have been more of the turnt festival trap variety, earning support from the likes of Diplo and others, but with this rendition of the aforementioned Diplo’s single with Sia “Plastic Hearts, he tones it down for something more laidback. The Weeknd’s vocals are sacrificed for the greater good of the tune, letting Sia’s voice shine over a trapped out instrumental that borrows from the original and adds pitched percussion. As is customary with Havok, its a free download, so turn up tonight.

This rework of Cashmere Cat‘s “Rice Rain” is fun and catches your attention right off the bat. Personally, I love the use of the rain drop sample… so perfectly constructed. Twinztrack is definitely on my radar now.

Freshly released on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, Mysto & Pizzi with their homie Moiez present a bootleg remix they did of MOTi’s “Don’t Go Lose It,” a big room take on some 80’s funky sounding electro-house. Better yet in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the guys have made the track available for free download. After proving he could conquer a “typical” hip-hop beat, spitting atop Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Pt. 2”, GoldLink is back in his production wheelhouse with the dreamy-deephouse sounds of Galimatias and Joppe. The two Danish producers have been making music together for some time now, and luckily they connected with the Virginia native through the future production label, Soulection.
The song has already amassed an astounding twenty thousand plays in the first 24-hours, and shows no signs of slowing down! Although, “One Step Back” will not be a part of GoldLink’s upcoming project, The God Complex, it’s a very strong addition to his musical catalogue.
