Electro | Labrinth – Let It Be (TORN Remix)

The mysterious Torn is back from radio silence with a hard bassy glitchy remix of Labrinth’s “Let It Be,” and faithful to his name, I’m still trying to figure this one out, but when I saw Labrinth behind the original, I knew I had to support, he’s way too underrated to be not supporting his talent. Glad Torn shed light on this talented vocalist, and good to see him back to remixes, the world will soon find out who is behind the alias…. This is a must listen!

IDFWU-CRVFTSMEN-REMIX
Premiered with our friends over at Music Ninja, CRVFTSMEN build on the success of their Diplo and Skrillex supported “Heads High” remix with a new Big Sean “IDFWU” remix. Anthemic and rambunctious, I see this CRVFTSMEN remix hitting the clubs hard. Make sure you “heart” their track below. Tune!

Trap | Charlie Darker – Guns For Hire (NGHTMRE Remix)

Charlie Darker - Guns For Hire (NGHTMRE Remix)
NGHTMRE, who you know is trill as f because he dropped the “i” and “a” in nightmare, has taken on Charlie Darker’s recent single “Guns For Hire”. NGHTMRE keeps the joyful lead from the original and plays with the drop elements, switching up the tempo and adding his own trapped out twist. All you have to do to grab the track is head to his Facebook page and follow him on Instagram which is probably filled with trill stuff like guns, gold chains, pics of him ghost riding whips and all sorts of other stuff.

Trap | Rook Milo – MMVIII EP

Not sure what’s in the air today or if it’s just the AC in the office, but a lot of this music has been giving me the goosebumps, and then Rook Milo comes along with his 4 track EP Outland and gives me the ultimate stanky face, in the best way possible! Emo-trap is what I like to call this, because it’s trap music with emotions, and Rook’s chop and screw sample game is what makes this project in my opinion. Give it a listen, this is what the future of electronic sounds like, it’s a must!

Albums, Electro, Electronic, Tour | Jack Eye Jones – My Neighbours Swing feat. STG

Jack Eye Jones - My Neighbors Swing

We’ve been watching Scottish talent Jack Eye Jones with increasing interest over the past few months and with good reason. The much loved Scotsman has been churning out the peak time festival tunes with increasing regularity, all the while gaining support from some of the biggest in the industry with particularly vocal support from heavyweights Avicii and Tiësto. Following on from the likes of Playground (which featured Tiësto himself on the remix pack) and Far East which caused quite a stir at EDC, we now have the latest high tempo salvo from Jack in ‘My Neighbours Know’ feat vocals from British talent STG.

Taking inspiration from the much loved mantra of the Scot “turn it up and let your neighbours know!” the track combines some trademark Jack Eye Jones percussion with a roaring synth line and a vocal feature that will no doubt go down well with clubbers. Coming this next month on Beatport via Jack’s own IBZ Records label, this one is sure to do some damage. If you think you might have heard this one before, that’s probably due to the fact that Jack is currently on a 15 date US Tour and this release has been featuring prominently. The countdown to October 20th begins.
