Trap | Ouza’s “Drag You Down” Massive 2nd Release From New Label Superdead
Posted by VMan on April 6, 2017
Superdead is a new label that is only 2 releases deep, but are already showing promise in all the right areas. Underrated DJ/producer Ouza slayed the Super Dead 002 spot, featuring a clean bass tune that has huge juxtaposition.
The intro and bridge are chill and trippy, but fitting for a forward-thinking bass track, The drop blows the mind with it’s loud, overpowering, wall-of-sound feel. The second drop takes the direction a step further, mixing up the drum patterns to make the heavy sound of “Drag You Down” even heavier.
Superdead does their label model a bit differently, check out their website to see merch, exclusives, and more.
Trap | Whipped Cream & Hekler’s “Mirrors” EP A Breath Of Fresh Air
Posted by VMan on April 6, 2017
Bass music has a tendency to have a lot of saturation of similar sounds, the genre – somewhat – has barriers that makes a bass song a “bass song,” which can come off as restricting and create more saturation of similar sounds. Enter Whipped Cream and Hekler, who seem to not only put the elements that make a great bass song in an order that feels new, but also showcase a plethora of suprsing sounds within the experience of Mirrors EP.
The 5 track EP takes us on a ride that has softer, nostalgic feeling sounds, unbelievably heavy banger moments, and everything in-between, while keeping a trap and bass feel on each track across the board. This was more than an EP, this was a journey.
Trap | NY’s Razz Drops Brand New “Used To” Single
Posted by BIGLIFE on March 18, 2017
NY’s Razz is quickly become a household name here at FreshNewTracks.com. He caught our attention with “Overthinking” a few months ago. Didn’t read our interview with the rising producer and DJ? You need to get familiar. Today, he’s back with a brand new “Used To” original mix that we’ve had on repeat since Friday. It captures that nostalgic feel that’s been absent from many of the releases in the dance space at the moment. This is a quality tune that you need to add to your playlists on Spotify.

On March 31st, Dabin will be releasing his highly anticipated album Two Hearts through Kannibalen Records. Today we have the fortune of sharing with you what is likely to be one of the dopest songs off the project. “Lilith” sees Dabin collaborating with label mate Apashe, whose recent LP Copter Boy was a huge success. Their bass-driven styles work well together and after adding the incredibly talented singer Madi to the mix, the result was something extraordinary. “Lilith” is unlike anything my ears have been exposed to and it alone has me excited for the album. However, this is the second single that’s been released so far, and with each step towards the album the anticipation grows tenfold. Pre-order Two Hearts below now because you won’t be disappointed.

Trap | Ryden’s “Murderer” Trailer Amplifies Message Of The Music
Posted by VMan on February 20, 2017
Music has a way of conveying stories and feelings that we normally can’t fully tell to people so that they can comprehend. Emotional attachment not only happens in music, but in life, and with Ryden’s upcoming single “Murderer” she gives her perspective on self-realization, the ending of a relationship, and the elated feeling of moving on. Ryden is from Los Angeles, California and finds herself playing several roles such as; a singer-songwriter, producer, and CEO of DopeMafia which is a clothing company geared towards urban fashion. As she has previously stated, her goal is to make everyone who listens to her music feel empowered and as if they were their own hero in their everyday life, and after watching the trailer for her upcoming single “Murderer” you can’t help but understand what her perspective and message is.
The track boasts a series of eerie orchestral melodies paired with modern day synth chords and bumping 808 bass to paint the perfect picture of what she’s trying to convey. She tells the ultimate anti-love story with a twist and in a way so moving it will stay with the listener long after the track is finished.
