Mainstream Remix | Listen To Feature Cuts’s Take On “Passionfruit”

Posted by on June 23, 2017

Passionfruit. One of the biggest tunes off of Drake’s “More Life” project. Texas’s Feature Cuts drop their own interpretation of “Passionfruit” that adds a super cool vibe to the original. We like this remix because it sounds different from everything we receive, and that’s a good thing. Tune in and zone out. This is a tune. Shout out to my dude Jack Gallagher for sending this one over.

Mainstream Remix | Walshy Fire & Clinton Sparks Team Up To Remix WurlD’s “Show You Off”

Posted by on June 21, 2017

Maimi’s Walshy Fire has had a hell of a year. He continues to make big statements with his originals (Know No Better with Major Lazer) and infectious remixes in his own right. This week, he recruits none other than Clinton Sparks (who just announced a brand new radio show on Dash Radio) to remix Wurld’s (check his aesthetic, it’s super dope) massive afro-soul “Show You Off” single with impressive results. To say this remix “takes it up a notch” would be an understatement. A club punisher, the official remix from Walshy and Clinton breathes new life into the single just in time for those summer cookouts and late nights at the club.

Tune in. Turn up. And, Get Familiar.

Moombahton | dEVOLVE Releases Moombaton Single “Monster (feat. Richie Loop)”

Posted by on June 2, 2017

Based out of Florida, dEVOLVE is undoubtedly underrated given the quality of music that he makes. I remember when his hit track came out “Higher,” The single having that perfect Reggaetón electronic feel, which happened to landed over 10 million streams. dEVOLVE has not been slowing down, he’s now released “Monster” with artist Richie Loop. The single shows the softer side of the genre, but is still a party starter.

Posted by on June 2, 2017

With a bubbly pop feel, TOBYNOH has teamed up with two other talents to make one of the poppiest, Jersey bass style tracks that you have yet to hear, entitled “Change”. If anybody said the genre is dead, they’re wrong. TOBYOH brings it back with style and grace via his new single “Change.” Ovcoco, Steel, and TOBYOH are a force to be reckoned with and a match made in heaven.

Western-influenced dance music has been taking over South Korea in recent years, these three artists are the latest example of the brewing culture that is happening right now.

Supported by Major Lazer, Apple Beats, BBC radio 1, and with 8.5 million plays on one single release “Higher”, dEVOLVE is the next exciting thing to a popsicle on a summer day. The guy’s party sound is a superb combination of genres such as moombahton, bass and dancehall. Together with the Grammy-winning Latin producer DJ Nesty, they have stirred the reggae/dance/Latin segment with their latest original track “Bring Ya Booty”. The track revives the 2012/2013 moombahton sound, pumped with a sleek modern dance beat, fit for any 2017 get together.

The Miami-based artist dEVOLVE marked the one-year anniversary of his successful music career launch this March. His most notable aspect is probably the wide spectrum of genres that influence his sound, from dancehall, big room, electronic to trap and hip hop. His debut, “Bubble Gum” featuring Jamaican dancehall legends T.O.K., was signed and released by Jillionaire (of Major Lazer)’s Feel Up Records. Following that was a chain of releases supported by influential A-listers including Diplo & Friends Radio, Apple Beats 1, BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems show, SiriusXM BPM, Major Lazer, Manufactured Superstars, DJ Five and many others.
