Pop | Charlie Brennan – Chicago (feat Lulu S.)
Posted by W8 on November 25, 2011
This generation is immersed in a much more colorful realm than I ever dreamt of expressing at their age. Charlie Brennan screams potential at just 16 years young his maturity is impressive. I’m inspired and humbled by this kid. The track is money, straight gold.

Electro, Preview, Trance | Kyau & Albert – Are You Fine (Arty Remix)
Posted by W8 on November 22, 2011
Avicii above with yet another gem added to his collection, let the waiting frenzy begin. Now onto the main attraction – Arty! I first heard this track played by Alesso and immediately was desperate for answers. Needless to say Arty is one of the few that let his standards be known consistently and because of that on a path to greatness he is. Also, as an added bonus Audien’s Fusion Mix continues with exciting vibes.

Electro, Preview | Preview, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, R.I.O. ft. U-Jean, Mike Candys, & Denzal Park

Preview above sounds promising though it feels a bit out of the ordinary considering Tommy Trash’s usual schizophrenic drops that consume his track record. It made its way onto Tiesto’s set so it must have reached an echelon. Release date is set for November 21st as the video entails. As above, you should not expect anything less from what follows below. All these tracks will strike you as splashes of guranteed happiness – my personal niche of sound. The Swedes are dominating the electro scene hands down. Sweden must have an excessive amount of ley-lines running through there. They genetically breed anthems; their expectations exceed the rest of the globe in terms of electronic music. Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman from Stockholm have done a fantastic remix of Mikael Weermet’s track titled ‘Free’, who’s not living too far away in Göteborg. I’m still waiting on the release of his preview we posted earlier, which should be the finale of that segment of Adele remixes. Also, I’m a big fan of how the intro of this first track isn’t packaged with a mediocre beginning common among almost all electronic music.

It’s almost rude that credit is not given to Avicii for his hit record Levels by how blatantly obvious the inspiration behind this track is. Inspite of that, the cheeriness does win me over.

I excised out the start of this track to skip over the ever so generic intro of electronic music that you’ve heard well over a million times. Should you need the full version for whatever reason, drop me a line.

I’m feeling this version a bit more than the original as it adds a little extra smile to the drop.

Electro, Interviews | Twibak: On The Rise
Posted by W8 on November 14, 2011

Coming from across the pond in Sweden, Twibak is set to carve out his unique path in the world of house music. Here is a brief interview with Twibak:
With so many genres to choose from, why electronic music?
I first was introduced to electronic music when I went off to study at university. I found Armin van Buuren’s ASOT and that helped me concentrate on studying. As time went on, I became more passionate about music.
The future looks bright for you, what do you envision?
Right now, the goal is to create remixes for other more established artists, and later release records under my own name. I’ve got a lot of passion for music. It’s more than just a hobby for me, so if I can continue making music, I’ll be happy to do so.
Earlier this year american magazine Joonbug gave Twibak and Avicii a shared first prize in a list of artists likely to watch out for.
”This will be Avicii’s other half, because this artist does not even have a track up on Beatport, but his recent mix of friend Martin Lundblad’s ID has exploded to popularity on internet blogs. Mainly progressive, Twibak’s catchy, swooning build ups are broken by a nicely harmonized electro bit, the kind popularized by Bob Sinclair, Dirty South, and David Guetta. Twibak is someone to watch for 2011, particularly with the number of superstar DJs coming out of Sweden.”
Twibak says he is inspired and appreciative of the recognition, and now works even harder thanks to it. The track below is a symbol of his talent and makes you ponder what his future may hold. I predict big things from this guy – you now know. (Martysounds also deserves credit on this track as well.)
Electro | Mysto & Pizzi ft. Jonny Rose – Where Is Love (Disco Fries Remix)
Posted by W8 on November 10, 2011

Disco Fries does an exceptional remake of the original version, now elevated to stadium status. The lyrics alone have enough strength to end all my previous questions with a clear answer, I was made from love!

Electro | Tiesto & Steve Aoki – Tornado (Original Mix)
Posted by W8 on November 10, 2011
Tiesto and Steve Aoki’s collaboration Tornado is now ready for plays. Both artists have their expected signatures felt evenly throughout the track, set to energize a dance floor nearest you this weekend.
Electro | Coldplay – Paradise (Tiesto Remix)
Posted by W8 on November 7, 2011
Tiesto, back with another one of his signature sounding anthems over Coldplay’s hit single Paradise. Although this is a radio rip it builds anticipation for the final release coming shortly. Still as of now, I’d say Fedde Le Grand still holds the title.
