After taking some time off to work on their studio and get their career on the right track with some labels, French duo Magnus & Timon are back with a new single “Svart” to remind their fans why they liked them in the first place. “Svart” has a nice blend of club and festival elements, lending to more live side of their sounds. I never thought I would say these words in my life: I like something in any way associated with Good Charlotte. American born producer duo Astro Bros made the impossible, possible with their blend of punchy bass and big melodies, using the vocals just enough to fit the remix. Grab the free remix below.

As dance music becomes more visible worldwide, it is becoming more common for artists to become involved in activities outside of the traditional dance music DJing arena. Don Diablo, who has had a great summer with “Starlight (Could You Be Mine)” and “Prototype“, has made the theme song for the upcoming nature film in Holland and Belgium “The New Wilderness”. Looks like a great watch, I mean who didn’t like Planet Earth (the answer is nobody). This song fits the theme of the video and is another strong track from Don Diablo who continues to get better with each track. The video is awesome too.

Otto Knows rarely releases a song, but when he does it is dynamite. He revamps the clubby original with melodic synth work and chopped vocals that we have seen him use so well. This is vintage Knows, as he continues to show that it is all about quality over quantity.

This has been one of the hottest dance records in the world this summer and for a time people didn’t even know the proper name of the track. Everybody is playing it and it is really easy to see why. The track has the perfect blend of festival friendly energy and sophisticated power to make it right for any set. Turn this one up and jack to the sound of the underground.

I was not ready for this one. I knew Live City could turn out some heavy stuff, but this is a whole new level. They completely strip the original instrumental, and add their own gritty, powerful electro drop with slower, melodic builds to match the somber vocals. The track has been around and the label is dragging their feet on this one, so Glassnote lets get this going and release this bad boy.

Following up his recent single “Touching The Sky” & “Splash“, Dutch producer Maddix takes to the remix front with his take on Beat Service’s 2012 track with Ana Criado “Whisper”. Instead of his electro stylings that we saw on the past two originals, Maddix adds a more melodic feel to this track, flipping the trance original into a high-powered big room remix. Look for more from Maddix as he continues to impress.
