Hip-Hop, Videos | Brandon Realmonte – Shades of Grey
Posted by LoffyG on November 8, 2012
Young emcee Brandon Realmonte out of Chico, California just released his debut song “Shades of Grey”, and for a first release I’m impressed. Brandon delivers his smooth, equality enriched lyrics over an instrumental known as “The Light” by The Album Leaf. He shows originality and promise in his music unlike so many rappers in this saturated genre today. Looking forward to seeing what he has in store with his next release. Follow him on his recently started social media outlets below.

Hip-Hop | Kendrick Lamar feat. Lady Gaga – Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe (Alternative Version)
Posted by LoffyG on November 7, 2012
If you haven’t heard already, Kendrick Lamar recently released arguably one of the best hip-hop albums of the year, Good Kid, m.A.A.d city, which sold over a whopping 240k in the first week alone. One of the stand out tracks on the album “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” had originally been planned with Lady Gaga on the chorus. Kendrick stated it didn’t make the album due to deadlines they had to meet, but Lady Gaga said it was because she wasn’t willing to compromise musically to the changes Kendricks camp was making to her music. Gaga has just released the unheard version of the song in her newly started video series. Personally, I’m glad this wasn’t the version that appeared on the album because it changes the whole vibe of the song and doesn’t seem to fit the album’s sound, hence the reason Kendricks camp wanted to make changes. What do you people think?

Hip-Hop | Tayyib Ali – Like I Used To (Prod. 2Astronauts)
Posted by LoffyG on October 29, 2012
There is no doubt that when Tayyib Ali released his Keystone State of Mind mixtape, we got something special. I wouldn’t expect anything less from the young visionary’s next installment, Keystone State of Mind 2. His newest 2Astronauts produced track “Like I Used To” proves just what I’m talking about. Tayyib delivers a smooth flow, accompanied by an amazing chorus that you can’t help but vibe to. Keep on the lookout for Keystone State of Mind 2 as well as a joint project between Tayyib and Cisco Adler.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Tourings Boring: Californication

After a long east coast leg of the Stud Nation Tour, the guys recharged their batteries (with a few beers) and took California by storm. The “catastrophic blowout” the guys experienced when they arrived didn’t hold them back from MILF’s, In-N-Out Burger, and Mike having his heart stolen. Check it out for yourself and follow the dream team below!
Hip-Hop, Videos | Riff Raff, Mod Sun, Mike Stud & Huey Mack – Nightstand [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on October 22, 2012
Let me start off by saying I’ve been waiting to see the final version of this song for awhile now. Back when I did my Huey Mack “Uncovered” interview I asked him who he really wanted to work with and he responded with Riff Raff. Lets just say it didn’t take long because it happened that very night. The song first came into fruition when Huey Mack and myself were at Mod Sun’s house and Huey told Mod he wanted to get on a song with Riff Raff, and without hesitation Mod made it happen. When I first heard the Boyz II Men style hook from Riff, I knew this was going to be something enjoyable. Not long after that night the song was completed with additional verses from Mod Sun and Mike Stud and they were all in California together shooting this video. You can even catch official FNT model Sydney Barlette making a cameo appearance. The video was shot and directed by none other than Jon Kilmer! Watch, download & enjoy.
