Dubstep, Videos | Kaskade – Room for Happiness ft. Skylar Grey (Feature Cuts Remix) [Music Video]
Posted by Jess on February 29, 2012
Feature Cuts is an up and coming Electronic artist from Texas who is already light years away from many of his peers. His latest remix of Kaskade’s “Room for Happiness” is super heavy with a drop that may just blow your speakers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Check out what Feature Cuts had to say about the remix below.
“From the intro that contains deep lyrics to be interpreted as one chooses. To the drop that is intended to create immense feeling and evoke energy from within. I hope the listener will hear a story and find a happiness that is as unique as they are.” – Feature Cuts

Electro | Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know ft. Kimbra (Robotic Pirate Monkey Remix)
Posted by Jess on February 25, 2012
Brand new single from Boulder’s Robotic Pirate Monkey remixing what I expect to be the “Pumped Up Kicks” of 2012, Gotye’s “Somebody I Used To Know”. One of my favorite remixes I’ve heard of the song thus far. It keeps all the best parts of the original and the added Electro makes it that much better.
Electro | Silver Medallion – The Young and The Reckless (prod. by Spadez)
Posted by Jess on February 22, 2012
Silver Medallion linked up with producer Spadez to create a banging new Electro single entitled “The Young and The Restless”. The song kind of has a Punk-Rock feel to it with an Electro backdrop. Definitely one of those songs to pump your fist to.
“We are the Young and the Reckless. There’s nothing deeper here, some days you just know you’re one of the kids whose living by the motto “live fast die young”. This is the soundtrack for that life.” – Silver Medallion

I posted Chi Duly’s remix of The Weeknd’s “D.D.” just a short while ago and today he dropped the complete remix project. The album features remixes from Chi Duly spanning from The Weeknd’s three mixtapes and there isn’t a bad one featured on it. Even The Weeknd got up on it and posted it on their Tumblr.

Posted by Jess on February 14, 2012
Dunson, formerly known as Kenton Dunson, just dropped his latest track entitled “Count On It”. The track serves as the first single off his upcoming mixtape The Investment due out this spring. If this track is any indication of what the project will sound like, I think we may be looking at one of top projects of the year. The single is produced by the Grammy-nominated trio Phatboiz, the people behind John Legend’s latest single, and incorporates a sample from the popular Sesame Street animated pinball segment, Pinball Number Count.
