Trae Tha Truth uses his connections to recruit some of the biggest names in the hip hop industry to supply us with an epic remix to Mark Morrison’s, I’m On. I’m honestly shocked that Trae the Truth had the ability to recruit this much talent for one of his tracks, so I am lost for words.

Doing a repeat run on Deadmau5’s label mau5trap, German born producer Moguai hits us with electronic dance music gold. This album really embodies a mix of sub-genres within EDM: Progressive House fans will find solace in the melodies of “Heimaterde” and “Dynamo”, Electro House junkies will love the driving beats of “Started” and “Hush Hush”, and “Neo” just brings the straight techno heat. There are 14 tracks on this release and not one of them is lackluster in terms of production quality, so do yourself a massive favor and cop this on Beatport. MUST DL Status, so preview below.

Olson, the production lead of the group Easy Does It, has been on his grind flexing his production muscles as his group transitions their operation to a new city. When I first heard Wild Ones, I immediately went on a fruitless hunt for an insane remix to this international smash. Then a few weeks later this gem showed up in my inbox, thank god.

Hip-Hop | Timeflies Tuesday: Under The Sea (Revisited)

Cal & Res from Timeflies are back this week with their incredible Timeflies Tuesday. If you’ve been following Timeflies, you may remember their remake to the classic Disney hit, Under The Sea, from the Little Mermaid. Other than possibly there iTribute track (a dedication song to Steve Jobs) that track was perhaps my favorite song they’ve ever created. So when I woke up this morning and realized Cal & Res had decided to remake Under The Sea again, this time a full length song, I was very excited. It brought me back to the days where I used to rock my Sebastian slippers around the house as a little kid.

RnB | Frank Ocean- Voodoo

Frank Ocean’s distinctive sound has arrived in the form of a new track, which he released late last night via his Tumblr account. While the enigmatic artist has yet to provide details about his forthcoming album, the anticipation surrounding the project is notable. While details are scare, “Voodoo” gives us a tiny window as to what we can expect for the album. Frank croons: “She’s got the whole wide world in her juicy fruit he’s got the whole wide world in his pants. He’s got the whole wide world in a wedding band; he put the whole wide world on her hand. She’s got the whole wide world in her hands.” One thing is certain; Frank Ocean has the R&B world in his nostalgic hands. I don’t see him letting go.

Another Tuesday comes and Timeflies drops another killer track, this time dedicated Superbowl XLVI. Not quite as crazy as what Birdman’s doing for the Superbowl, but nonetheless pretty dope if you ask me.

“After watching one of the best Sundays in NFL history, we decided to make a Super Bowl inspired track this week. Cal sank into depression following the Giant’s improbable victory in 2007, but is excited for redemption. Sweet, sweet redemption. And who doesn’t love Queen.”

Ty x GSpence have been hard at work on in the studio, putting together their next project which will drop in the next few month. In the process of laying down some verses for a new originally track, Ty was inspired to test his flow out on Rusko. What came out of the session was a dope freestyle featuring Ty speedy flow, Rusko’s addicting beat, and Amber’ epic hook.
