Hip-Hop, Videos | Dillon Cooper – Common People
Posted by dshaq on April 18, 2012
Brooklyn native Dillon Cooper is no common person. Not only does he display his dazzling dance moves, he spits some straight fire over this soon to be summer anthem. Now this is one of my few times hearing of Dillon, but this song really caught my attention. His flow is on point, wordplay is quality, and keeps us engaged the whole time. This kid has what it takes to really go far, so peep this track and check out the visuals. Video done by the legendary Jon Kilmer.
Hip-Hop | Mac MIller – Cold ft. Curren$y (prod. Chuck Inglish)
Posted by dshaq on April 17, 2012
To be honest, I have not been Mac’s biggest supporter of late, but this is some respectable stuff though. The beat is what we’re used to hear Mac going in on, this time produced by Chuck Inglish. Mac recruits Curren$y for this laid back track and both flow nicely over it. This has summer/riding around track all over it so scoop it and look for more Mr. McCormick to come.

Posted by dshaq on April 16, 2012
Hours after not only the Boston Marathon but their Double Vision Music Marathon, Double Vision kindly gave us some visuals to one of their tracks off their latest EP. The video really depicts their style of music: having fun. Again, these guys did a great job of getting us so many tracks in such a short amount of time, so lets show them some love by downloading the EP’s and hitting them up on Facebook and Twitter below.
Hip-Hop | Jetpack Jones – Forum in the 80’s (Prod. TheGeekSquad)
Posted by dshaq on April 16, 2012
After posting his mixtape, Reincarnation, I’ve been keeping my eye on Jetpack Jones. He does a great job of choosing beats that really help showcase his sound. This track has more of the banger tab though, beginning with that intro. Jetpack has really solidified himself as a quality up and comer, and with tracks like this it will only solidify his spot. Make sure to scoop the track below and hit him up on Twitter and Facebook below.
Hip-Hop | A$AP Rocky – Goldie (Prod. Hit-Boy)
Posted by dshaq on April 16, 2012
Fresh off his Coachella headlining performance, which to me wasn’t anything special, A$AP releases some brand music for our enjoyment. Off his album, LongLiveA$AP, which will be available in the Summer, the track is produced by Hit-Boy and yes, it goes hard with Rocky delivering on this track like always. If the album is anything like this or his previous mixtape, then we should be in for a treat. Look for more A$AP to come.

Double Vision unveils their final piece of the music marathon. This time they go for more of a pop sound with the tracks, even sampling Van Halen and Gotye. These guys have done some great work in such a short amount of time so make sure not to just check this EP out but also their other one’s. Make sure to hit them up on Facebook and Twitter below.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Hoodie Allen – No Faith In Brooklyn (ft. Jhameel)
Posted by dshaq on April 10, 2012
In lieu of Hoodie hitting top 10 in both of the hip-hop and iTunes albums, he dropped off the visuals to the other standout track on All American. Hoodie is one of the most deserving guys so go buy his EP and support not only him but also good music! Check the visuals and grab the EP!
