Hip-Hop, Videos | Danny Brown – Grown Up (Official Video)
Posted by dshaq on June 5, 2012
Detroit’s very own Danny Brown, drops off the visuals his great single, Grown Up. Everything about this video is perfect. The little kid is not only a spitting image of Danny, the clothes and tooth accident make it that much better. Danny has been one of my favorite underground rappers for a minute, so if you have yet to get up to date with his stuff, do so! Also shouts to fellow Fools Gold member, Party Supplies, who produced the video.
Hip-Hop | Skizzy Mars – No Curfew
Posted by dshaq on June 3, 2012
Skizzy Mars, a personal favorite, delivers this brand new track via his Facebook. That unique Skiz flow is highlighted by the relaxing intro, then is taken up a notch with the great electronic synths during the chorus. No word on when his mixtape, Phases, will be dropping, but you can expect it to be on FNT when it does. Show some love to him on his Facebook and Twitter below.
Hip-Hop, RnB | Cocaine80s – Express OG EP
Posted by dshaq on May 30, 2012
Grab this right now! Although this is rather hard to put into one specific genre, it is unique and phenomenal. Combining captivating guitar riffs, powerful vocals, quality rhymes, and even grabbing features from two of Hip-Hop’s legends, Nas and Common, Cocaine80s makes this brand new EP a must have. My standout tracks are Take My Keys and This Can’t Be a Crime.
Hip-Hop | Childish Gambino – Silk Pillow (Feat. Beck)
Posted by dshaq on May 30, 2012
New Gambino always makes us all happy campers. This time Mr. Glover recruits Alternative Rock legend, Beck for this track. The beat is a nice laid back piano riff with great accompanying drums, then switches up into an interesting electronic flare. Impressive flow from Beck, and yet another quality verse from Gambino. Make sure to be on the lookout for Royalty dropping soon.
Cover, RnB | Ellie Goulding – High For This (Remix) [Prod. Xaphoon Jones]
Posted by dshaq on May 30, 2012
I wasn’t too sure of what to expect when I saw that Ellie Goulding covered a Weeknd track, but man was I blown away. The British songstress easily gives the OG a run for its money. What Xaphoon Jones did with this beat is amazing, changing the sound completely. Hopefully there are more Xaphoon/Ellie collabs in the future because this one is fire.
Hip-Hop | Spenzo – Ova

Chicago’s rap game is top notch. With big names like Chief Keef, Chance the Rapper, Kembe X, Lil Reese, and Lil Durk, Chicago is building some of the most promising new up and comers. What we have here is a brand new video from 16 year old, Spenzo. Absolutely murdering this beat, Spenzo shows off his phenomenal flow and nice word play. If this is any indicator of what to expect from this yungin, don’t be surprised if he’s the next Chicago rapper to blow up. Video shot by DGainzBeats.
