Bootleg, Electro, Exclusive | Na Palm vs Aoki vs Izzy Azalea – Beat Down (bootleg) [FNT Exclusive] [Apparel Giveaway]
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 22, 2012
Na Palm is back with “Beat Down,” the second banger from his highly anticipated upcoming podcast, ElectronicChronic#002 (expected Spetember 17th). This track, an exclusive for FNT fans, features Aoki and Iggy Azalea alongside some nasty Na Palm lyrics. I’ve had “Beat Down” on repeat all day and I can’t get enough of the clever, raunchy rhymes. Iggy Azalea is channeling Nicki Minaj here, and Na Palm takes full advantage of that to make this song a powerful, dirty, sweaty ride. Enjoy.
Big ‘secret’ news after the jump… (Plus another apparel GIVEAWAY)

Electro, Exclusive | Na Palm vs Adventure Club vs Foxes – Youth (bootleg) [FNT Exclusive] [Apparel Giveaway]
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 7, 2012
I was fortunate enough to meet Na Palm at Global Dance Festival in Colorado a couple weeks ago, and it was quickly clear that this man embodies everything I love about music. His energy, passion and dedication were immediately apparent, and he was also incredibly modest and earnest. I am thrilled to be able to bring you “Youth,” a very impressive exclusive Adventure Club remix off his upcoming podcast, “ElectronicChronic002.” After seeing Na Palm’s wild live shows I knew he could deliver party bangers, but this new release proves he is just as skilled at mellowed out tunes. One listen to “Youth” and you’ll swear someone slipped this upbeat, energetic guy a chill pill. Roll up on one of these hot summer days and enjoy this anthem from NaPalm–you won’t regret it. And don’t forget to spread the word about ElectronicCronic002, because it’s about to be huge. #DirtyGirlsLikeDirtyBeats Apparel GIVEAWAY after the jump –
Mashups | DOSVEC – Drank
Posted by CHAZZZ on August 6, 2012
If you’re not a Twitter fiend you might not know that “Drank” by Kendrick Lamar dropped late last week. DOSVEC spotted it early and has already thrown together a filthy mash-up blending “Drank” with the Candyland remix of the popular remix of “Sandstorm” by Candyland, creating the perfect song to combat end-of-summer blues. Kendrick Lamar and Darude (Candyland Remix) might seem like unlikely collaborators, but in DOSVEC’s skilled hands the mashup really soars. Grab this track today and make your Monday morning feel like a Friday night. And as always, support him on Twitter and Facebook to get updates on upcoming projects.
Also, be sure to check out the awesome visuals for this song after the jump. READ ON >>
Events, Review | Global Dance Festival Colorado Recap
Posted by CHAZZZ on July 28, 2012
*Guest post from the FreshNewTracks’ Intern Zoe
One week ago marked the 10th anniversary of Triad Dragon’s Global Dance Festival. First known as Rave on the Rocks, Global Dance Fest started in 1999 at the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater featuring The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim for a mere $20 ticket. Since its early days, Global has been well known for showcasing up and coming artists on the brink of chart-topping popularity. As the festival has grown, pioneers of electronic music such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto, and Deadmau5 have helped give Global the reputation it has today.
This year’s lineup was no let down for the big celebration. Headliners including Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, Wolfgang Gartner, Excision and Zed’s Dead kept the festival alive from start to finish. On Friday, Hardwell, Knife Party, and Steve Angello tore up the main stage with nonstop crowd pleasers and confetti cannons while Krewella, 3LAU and Felix Cartal started fist pumping and shuffling riots at the Global Bass Stage.
Things escalated even more when Manufactured Superstars sent hundreds of inflatable astronauts into the audience and Above & Beyond led an hour and a half long session of group therapy. Wolfgang Gartner. However, remains the most memorable, taking the crowd on a derpgang roller coaster with tracks ranging from “Flexxx” to Notorious BIG’s “Hypnotize.”
