Posted by BIGLIFE on July 5, 2017
What happens when you combine Trinidad’s biggest group with Grammy nominated producer and DJ Clinton Sparks? A crossover global caribbean hit that we’ve had on repeat since it released on Tuesday. Kes and Clinton Sparks link up to deliver “Combine”, a pop-leaning collaboration combining Clinton’s pop sensibility with Kes’s eclectic caribbean vibe, making a strong statement for all involved. Of the new single and collaboration Kes explained:
“From the instant we met and started creating it just flowed naturally. It’s been amazing bringing this together as a team. A true combination of our unique worlds in one song.”
Available on all your favorite streaming platforms, “Combine” is a radio ready crossover hit that seems destined to wind up on radio and in all of your favorite playlists just in time for the summer.
Make sure you pick this one up on iTunes here.
Hip-Hop | Mood Ent. and Trill Troy Drop Hip-Hop Banger “Lately”
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 3, 2017
Virginia’s MOOD ENT. drops off an undeniable money chasing anthem. It’s on going with Davie Jones leading the way w/the catchiest of hooks, followed by some sheer displays of rather appealing lyricism from Conscious Kane, Hollywood Rame, and Kirk D. Surely a potential hit, Lately will soon be your top gem to play with your windows down on pay day.
Lookout for MOOD ENT’s debut album, set to release at the end of this month.

Pop | Phil Good’s “I Miss You” Is Perfect For Your Sunday Night
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 2, 2017
I like Phil Good. He doesn’t chance the sound of now, which is refreshing. Every time I receive an e-mail from his team I open it up knowing I’m going to listen to something different from the pack. So many artists piggy back on popular sounds, which is normally a symptom of not knowing who they are as an artist. I get the feeling that Phil Good knows exactly who is he is and what message he wants to convey. That’s why we post his music. And that’s why you should listen to his new single “I Miss You”.
This is a feel good tune.
Pop | Calvin Harris’s “Prayers Up” With Travis Scott & A-Trak Is Going To Be A Smash
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 2, 2017
Calvin Harris has us blocked on Twitter. I have no clue why. But that’s besides the point. His brand new “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1” is here and it has so many powerhouse tracks on the project. We’ve had it on repeat since it dropped. “Slide” and “Rollin” are stand out tracks on the project. Arguably the strongest of all is “Prayers Up” with Travis Scott and A-Trak, which we predict will be a smash this summer. Travis Scott is the hottest artist in the hip-hop world right now, and routinely sets trends and leads the pack. No surmise he’s created another banger. It’s lit!
Make sure you listen to “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1” on Spotify, here.
Mainstream Remix | Listen To Feature Cuts’s Take On “Passionfruit”
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 23, 2017
Passionfruit. One of the biggest tunes off of Drake’s “More Life” project. Texas’s Feature Cuts drop their own interpretation of “Passionfruit” that adds a super cool vibe to the original. We like this remix because it sounds different from everything we receive, and that’s a good thing. Tune in and zone out. This is a tune. Shout out to my dude Jack Gallagher for sending this one over.
RnB | Teenear Is Back With A Must Watch “Something Else” Music Video
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 22, 2017
When you’re signed to the label that’s “The Home of The Hits” the bar is set high. Miami’s Teenear exceeds it with her brand new “Something Else” single with visuals to match out now on Slip-N-Slide Records. A perfect R&B inspired summer anthem, “Something Else” is perhaps one of strongest tracks we’ve heard from the up and comer this year. It’s one of those tracks that find yourself playing on repeat like 50 times in a row. Make sure you add “Something Else” to your playlists on Spotify.
This one is a real jam.

House | The Magician’s “Magic Tape 72” Brings All The Feels
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 21, 2017
Last weekend, we had the opportunity to catch The Magician at CREATE. We’ve tried (for 3 years) to catch the enigmatic producer and DJ live. On Saturday night we had the opportunity to witness his greatness first hand. His monthly “Magic Tape” series has become a staple for every house DJ under the sun to listen to, digest, and include in their own sets. And with good reason. The Magician has arguably carved out the coolest brand in dance music today thanks to collaborators like Bob Jeusette. The Magician’s new “Magic Tape 72” brings the heat with new tracks from Fisher, TCTS, and Calvin Harris. Very few are Shazam-able, and that’s the way he likes it.
Feel the magic.
