EDMbiz Adds Startup And A&R Contest To 2015 Conference Schedule

Are you any aspiring entrepreneur or artists? If the answer is yes to either of those questions, you will want to head to EDMbiz 2015 this June because the EDM conference and expo will be hosting their first startup and record/A&R contests for two lucky winners to achieve their dreams. The startup contest will be an opportunity for five teams to pitch their ideas in front of a row of judges consisting of venture capitalists and EDM heavyweights for their chance to be selected as the winner. For the Record/A&R contest, Insomniac Records will be releasing one track from the winning artist on their newly kicked off record label that boasts a roster of Arty, Destructo, and more. The initial vote will be up to the Internet as Wavo will be hosting the first part of the voting, and after, a group of high-level A&R executives will choose the destiny of one promising talent. For all of you already going to EDMbiz, the conference has announced Afrojack will be performing at the kick-off party at Omnia Nightclub with Alesso taking over the Closing Night Party duty at The Comsmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool.
