R Rated #15
Posted by Sev on February 9, 2012
Such a sick tune from Trolley Snatcha set to release on his upcoming Subtext EP on 2/13 . There are so many unreleased bangers floating around that need to be heard so I decided to preview some of my top favorites today. This first one High Rankin just put up only a few hours ago, but I already need this track. The build up combining with Nadia Ali’s vocals gives me goosebumps. This is definitely the best remix to this song I have heard ranging through all the genres. Australian native Filth Collins previewed this tune about three months ago and is set to release this month, but no exact date yet. This is a jump-up dubstep banger that is going to be rinsed out at a lot of shows once more producers start noticing it. For this last preview we have Bro Safari stepping out of his Moombahton comfort zone and dabbling with a dubstep remix that turned out to be a beat of a remix.

Read on for this weeks R Rated tracks.
First up we have a bass drivin original from Dash Total’d, who is known for his grimey style. I will warn you this tune has a darker feeling than the stuff we normally post so listen at your own risk.

I have a feeling that Lana Del Rey is going to be the next Ellie Goulding for dubstep remixes. With that being said it doesn’t mean Kill Paris doesn’t go off on this remix with the transformer synths all over the place.

Never Say Die’s Finnish maestro 501 has given this radio edit of a track off of his next EP also featuring the highly anticipated Falling Skies. Belle Humble , who we saw on Cutline’s Runnin’, provides the perfect vocals for this dubstep dance anthem.

Downlink released his Factory Remixes EP this week, and the remix most were patiently waiting for was the Ajapai Remix. This remix takes Downlink’s Factory to another level of wobbly wobbleness.

Torqux new track is a little less heavier than what we are accustomed to hearing from this producer. Nevertheless it is still a quality track with a nasty drop.

This a unique Kuduro remix of Rusko’s new single Somebody To Love, but I felt that it had enough bass and enough wobbly synths to make it to R Rated. It has to be one of my personal favorites because it add’s a little more jump-up feel to the original, which was already a great dance track. Break bomb nailed this remix.
