Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks (DSK CHK Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 9, 2011
Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” is one of the summer’s biggest tracks. In the few occurrence that I’ve been stuck listening to radio stations, I’d say about 70% of the time this song pops up. And even though we posted the song several months ago, it still hasn’t received any impressive club-friendly makeovers. That is, until today when a mysterious masked man emerged from the woodwork with a surprisingly refined track for such an unknown name. Fortunately for FNT, DSK CHK leaked a free remix of the track and FNT has the exclusive. DJ ALERT – this is straight up party fuel (don’t worry it’s been tested). If you’re as curious as I was about DSK CHK, click “More” for the official press release (yes it lets you in on a little secret about a hollywood budgeted music video we will be funding in the near future…)

Track press release for Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks (DSK CHK Remix):
The DSK CHK remix of Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks has already been dominating dancefloors such as the infamous Shrine at MGM Foxwoods and reportly rocked the house with it’s infectious chorus laced over a demanding electro bassline. The track breaks down into a dubhouse buildup for another deliverance of dancefloor devistation in round two. Download it for free plus more at http://soundcloud.com/dsk-chk
Little is known about this artist who seamlessly appeared out of thin air in the Summer of 2011. They’re premier remix “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins (seen here http://youtu.be/qvZll3BKSwY) stirred a lot of attention as it was debuted on the official music video for the 2011 Groove Cruise, an event known through out the EDM community as the World’s largest floating dance music festival housing over 2,000 club goers on a cruise ship out of Miami that has featured DJs such as Deadmau5, Dirty South, Benny Benassi, and many more in the past. DSK CHK has been hard at work forging original tracks with singers such as Jeremy Carr and our own Collin Mcloughlin. FNT recently reached out to DSK CHK’s management who filled us in on their upcoming short film dedicated to the Phil Collin’s remix, and it is reported to take on a Hollywood style and budget to premier the music video set to launch in the future.
