Trance | Andy Duguid & Audrey Gallagher – In This Moment
Posted by Middy on July 24, 2013
While other labels like Armada and Anjunabeats have evolved and expanded their sounds to include the many variations of trance, Black Hole Recordings has been one of the few label strongholds for the traditional trance sound. The latest offering from the label comes from Scotsman Andy Duguid, who tabs noted trance vocalist Audrey Gallagher to provide an etheral top line for this track. The BPM is not going to crush you into a wall like a John O’Callahan track, but the uplifting qualities are more than present with fast moving key play, a euphoric melody and matching vocals. Yes there is the opening cymbal from “Levels” in there, so don’t despair, but rather just listen to the whole track and you will see why.

Pop, RnB | Chaka Khan ft Lecrae – It’s Not Over
Posted by VMan on July 22, 2013
This might be a first for Fresh New Tracks, but I’m a fan of this record, and felt the need to share. Chaka Khan is a legend, and this track is just too dope. If only Kanye used another sample of hers on Yeezus, like he did with “Through the Wire,” maybe it would have sold more copies, and gone more mainstream, but not my problem at the moment… Chaka Khan still has it and I’m loving it! LeCrae is the man as well, he hops on this track with that TI swag, that Drake flow, and keeps it all positive. So if you’re feeling down, and you want some uplifting music, this track is a Must Listen!

And on another note, New York City’s own DJ Prime sent over this remix the other day for his latest single “So Fly” featuring Oh Snap!! , and it’s been creeping up on me. Suraci turned this radio pop banger into a sexy club track for the Summer. I strongly suggest you check this track out. Nothing but a good time!

Dash Berlin have been a master of vocal trance for several years now, and with this effort the trio prove that once more. Tabbing Russian trance producer, Alexander Popov, Dash Berlin’s two producers give us the big, uplifting melodies you would expect from them, with the genre blending sound known from Alexander Popov, all accentuated by a soaring top line from Mendelsohn. This is to be included in the upcoming deluxe edition of #musicislife, which has another unreleased track and some new remixes from Michael Brun and Andrew Rayel, among others.

Progressive House | Stars Above – Soar
Posted by Mach on June 17, 2013
After an extremely successful EP that topped the charts on Soundcloud and HypeM, Stars Above rolls out another House gem. “Soar” is an extraordinary uplifting original that takes you to the edge of the Earth and beyond. Stars Above makes sure to take his time, making his lift-off intro a superb countdown to flight time. The drop is nothing short of incredible, sending chills through my spine and proper dance vibes to my feet. Stars Above is just getting started, he currently has a Kickstarter to help in the funding of his dream to produce a full length album he likes to call, “Black Diamonds”. Keep an eye out for more great productions from him in the future.
