After premiering two impressive leaks from this lyrically-gifted Yonkers emcee, his new EP Wake Up is here in full. While his past releases have highlighted his rapidly-growing skill as a writer and technical rapper, Wake Up is by far his most consistent record to date, and with a decidedly more reflective sound, Maxxx’s personality begins to shine on the record as we hear more of his story. In conjunction with the EP release, we also have the music video to his lead single, “Feels Right”, featuring Sunny Jones, who also produced the majority of the record. Enjoy the tape, and keep up with Maxxx Flair as I know he has some great work ahead of him.

Fresh New Tracks has always supported Marc Goone. I think he has the talent, and personality, to go a long way in the music industry. His latest tape, does nothing but raises by already high regard for him. Every song is unique, and his cadence and voice are something copycat rappers should strive for. His beat selection, often courtesy of Zuxwitit and Judge, is constantly changing and adapting to his ever improving and ever changing rap style. If you find me another rapper with the same style as Marc Goone, I’ll send you to the A&R’s at Def Jam, because that’s who you should be working for. Even if Marc isn’t your cup of tea, you would have to agree that he is unique, and that’s one thing I look for in the over-satured game of internet rappers. Remember the feeling of being 13 years old, in Mexico with your parents, drinking a virgin piña colada and watching all the rowdy college kids have the time of their life? I do. I went to Cancun with my parents and vividly remember watching college bros raging all night on their balcony with smoke shows hotter than the white sand beaches. I wished that was my life and I wanted to be them. Well, now it’s our time. It’s time to take on spring break with a real piña colada in hand, taking body shots off of smoke shows on the beach and hitting the clubs in Cabo hard at night. I created a playlist to help power the FNT Nation this Spring Break and keep you guys raging from the sunrises on the beach to the after parties after the clubs. All these songs are packed full of energy and are some of my favorite party songs. One of my favorites, Changed by SirensCeol is the perfect anthem to fade your thoughts of going to sleep and help power you through the week. I feel like every week I’m posting a new Jetpack Jones track or video. I checked the archives and that is actually an accurate fact. As long as he keeps making solid music and filming gorgeous videos, you’ll be hearing new Jetpack Jones music consistently for the next year. When you live in a place as stunning as California, it’s fairly easy to create aesthetically pleasing videos. Chance drops off the second single from his highly anticipated mixtape, ACID RAP. The beat is a nice relaxing melody with a great lead guitar. This one reminds me a lot of Brain Cells from 10Day. New Chance makes us all happy campers so savor this one till the next release/tape drops.
