Always a pleasure finding good shit. That is, Pete Lawrie aka Until The Ribbon Breaks with an already impressive co-sign from the one and only ”I put oooon” – Jay-Z. ”I was born with my back to the stars. Turn me over. I would like to see.” says Pete. Metaphorically similar to how I ponder the good things to come from his future catalogue, that thought as my ethereal head nods to the rewinded visuals and smooth direction this particular track takes.

The party you wanted to go to, but never could because it was always over in Europe (unless you are European), last year made made that dream come true with its debut in the US, at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. After a successful launch last year with some arguably overpriced tickets it returns to the US for a second year, expanding the tour from one city to four cities. It will remain in New York, while also hitting dance music hotspots, Miami, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Dates have yet to be announced, but the tour will be this fall. A sure sign of an artist who is bound to make it is someone who wins contests like Nocturnal Wonderland’s Discovery contest…which Clinton did. Bro Safari is typically known for producing funky, danceable moombahton tracks with an edge, so I see this as something of a departure from his usual style.
