With Rolling Papers in the rearview, Wiz has promised to return to his K & OJ style of rap. Exhaling a promising breath with the release of his recent mixtape, Taylor Alderdice, Wiz keeps it OG on his new single, “Work Hard Play Hard”, but also showcases a mainstream hook. The first time I heard this track I thought it was biting a little bit to close to Big Sean x Wale x Diplo’s track, “Slight Work”, but it has since grown on me, even though his first verse rhymes are repetitive and elementary. It’s a happy medium. Something fans on both ends of the spectrum can enjoy. O.N.I.F.C. album in stores 8/28/12.

Here is a track off The Game’s newest mixtape Candy Coronas, but while listening to Game’s Khalifa-esque flow and the poppy hook I almost confused this as a cut off Rolling Papers.

Here is the latest official leak off Sean’s Finally Famous, which leaked in its entirety yesterday on the internet. With a poppy hook from Wiz, the track sounds like something off Rolling Papers, and Chiddy does his thing as always. Go support Sean and buy some food for thought on June 28th.

Since Best Day Ever’s drop, the buzz surrounding Mac Miller has only continued to grow. That doesn’t mean he’s spent time wallowing in the fame though, for he’s stayed on his daily grind.
Today he released information noting that he plans to drop an EP entitled On and On and Beyond, on Tuesday, March 29th (the same day Wiz’s Rolling Papers drops).
The EP will feature two off Best Day Ever, two from previous works, and (here’s the good part) two brand new tracks.
Check out the tracklist posted below, as well as one of the new songs featured on the EP. “On and On” is a feel good jam, definitely something to vibe to.
