Electro | FTampa – Time Police Ft. Troll

I believe that FTampa is one of the more underrated producers in electronic music, this bumping Electro tune is further support of that statement. This track goes hard, making for an epic dance track. Troll’s vocals remind me of the lead singer from The Killers, which is a huge plus for this track. FTampa never disappoints in my mind, get to know him.

Nilson and The 8th Note are upcoming dutch producers who have been making some fantastic uplifting progressive house tracks together. The remix of Cosmo Klein – By Tonight takes the male vocals and adds a smooth, euphoric synth melody over top with a varying bass line dominated by a clap underneath. The production work on this track is outstanding keeping some of the indie flavor of the original, while turning this into a progressive masterpiece. This track has been heavily supported by Nicky Romero, so hit the play button above and go and get this track.

Electro-House | Nari & Milani – Atom

The “Atom” bomb from Nari & Milani has finally been unleashed on the entire world after its full unveiling at Madison Square Garden by Swedish House Mafia that left everyone speechless. Nari & Milani are no strangers to the game, having been doing this for over 10 years and know how to make big tracks. They have had successful songs during their time as producers, but nothing with the notoriety or the power as “Atom”. As Alesso’s motto says “Less is More” and this song much like Sandro Silva & Quintano’s anthem “Epic” before them showed, quick percussive bursts in the break will send any crowd into a frenzy and are perfect for the summer festival environment. The build of the song sets up the drop perfectly, putting you on edge with its ominous melodies and synth chords leaving you with the expectation that something massive is going to happen. There’s nothing to bring me out of my Monday blues like some hot new Vizzy. A bit of an electric type beat from one of Donovan Johnson’s go to producers, The Awesome Sound. Nobody can jump on a beat and do what XV does to it, he has a unique way of changing anything he gets on. I’m not a HUGE fan of Freddie High’s verse, because it’s so tough to follow someone who kills everything like XV, but Vizzy’s verse makes this track a huge hit in my book.

Delta Heavy just dropped a chill, happy remix that’s perfect for this awesome weather and easy on the ears. While this might seem like a bit of a departure from some of their heavier/more DnB-inflected tracks, the bassline’s definitely got some heft beneath those high, synthy leads. These guys are some of the most versatile and creative producers in the game right now and I’m loving everything they’re putting out lately, so give this one a listen and hit up the free DL.

Dubstep | Eptic — Like A Boss EP

Eptic’s new EP has finally been unleashed by Never Say Die Records. This producers upbeat, seizure styled sounds have been taking the stages by storm. FuntCase and Inspector Dubplate being avid supporters of Eptic’s tracks just goes to show you how heavy these tunes can get. Starting off with Death Ray, which is a prime example of a heavy, laser synth filled track that even throws in a few “Yo” synths hear and there. Oh Snap is a track I would say closely relates to a Brown and Gammon style track with pauses and high pitched synths. Fast Forward takes a slight different approach with a more jump-up feel, but still heavy with the bass and Like A Boss which was given away last week needs no further introduction. The much anticipated vocal mix of the summer anthem “Calling” from the Swedish super stars Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso has finally arrived. With vocals from One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, the song is taken to a whole new level of euphoria and makes this track that was seemingly perfect even better. Alesso & Seb have been playing this out for a little while now and since its radio play on Swedish House Mafia’s second takeover of BBC Radio One, the anticipation built to a fever pitch, but now with its release we can enjoy this gem and add yet another release to both of these producers great careers. This is only the start for these two this year with Alesso making me look smart at the beginning of the year previewing his massive single “Years“, as well as his collaboration with Steve Angello and Seb “Eclipse“. As always Seb has his work with SHM, and their upcoming single “Greyhound“, the aforementioned collaboration with Steve Angello & Alesso and as Refune label owner he will always remain in the spotlight.
