Preview, Progressive House, Videos | Michael Brun & Special Features – Synergy (Preview)

Posted by on April 11, 2012

A cool video about Pierce Fulton’s time during Electric Beach and look out for one of those tracks in the video soon…
FNT favorites, Michael Brun & Special Features have released the preview for their upcoming collaboration “Synergy” out on April 18th on Dirty South’s Phazing Records. Dirty South seems to be taking an interest in Michael Brun after his “edit” of “Rise” and now signing “Synergy” to his label. It would be interesting to see what the future has in store for the two of them. The song starts with a melodic build with intricate key work that crescendoes into a hard, pulsing progressive synth drop that will make you want to fast forward to April 18th right away.

Also included is a remix of Michael Brun’s first big single “Dawn”, which came out of Hardwell’s Revealed Records and was championed by the man himself. Cat Skillz puts more emphasis on a piano melody and gives the track a more relaxed vibe, while keeping the more uptempo bass line.

DJ-Set, Preview, Progressive House | Hardwell & Dannic – Kontiki (Teaser), Pierce Fulton March Mix

Posted by on March 18, 2012

Of the tracks Hardwell debuted at Sensation White Copenhagen back in October, Kontiki was the one I was looking forward to the most. Spaceman was getting the earliest release, but my mind was always set on Kontiki and I thing with this teaser you can see why. It is always a treat to get a mix from Pierce Fulton and this March Mix is no different. It is a great way to get yourself ready for UMF with a spot on mixture of groovy, relaxing tracks and upbeat electro and progressive jams, including some exclusive edits from Pierce Fulton. Tracklist after the jump.

Electro-House, Progressive House | Dirty South & Thomas Gold ft. Kate Elsworth – Eyes Wide Open (Remixes)

Posted by on March 7, 2012

Dirty South’s label “Phazing Records” has released the remix package of his huge single with Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth “Eyes Wide Open”. Lenno, the young Finnish Dj that Pierce Fulton mentioned would be a guy to watch out for, provides a remix with much of the original melody, while adding a funky, groovy touch to the song that gives it a different vibe and a refreshing change of pace. Felguk sticks to their electro house signature, throwing some heavy electro synths into the drop, while maintaining much of the uplifting melody of the original track. After the jump I included Dirty South’s March mix and the tracklist.

House, Preview, Videos | Preview: Felix Cartal – Domo (Pierce Fulton Remix)

Posted by on February 19, 2012

Pierce Fulton is not taking any breaks from releases after his huge single “Who Wants Spaghetti“. The young American no longer needs an introduction with the compilation of remixes and singles he is putting together. This remix he did for Felix Cartal’s latest single “Domo” on Dim Mak Records utilizes much of the original build with its soft piano melody and then Pierce turns it on in the break with some harder percussion and electro synths that gives this song a great club feel. Release on Tuesday so be ready. Also check out the video above of him killing it in his first headlining show at Glow DC.
