Chill, Hip-Hop, Rap | No Trace – Hear Me (Official Video)

Posted by on October 20, 2013

A group that I have been following for awhile, No Trace, released their newest visuals for a standout track off of their sophomore mixtape, The Wake Up Call. When I first posted their music, I posted it on the grounds of potential. Now, the two high school sophomores have made the leap from amateur to doing something special. However, they still have plenty of work to do to fully reach their potential. I have no doubt that they will reach it and we will see something special from them in the upcoming years. If you missed their mixtape, grab it here. Sorry I’m late on the video, but it was too good to go unposted. Keep checking back on Fresh New Tracks for the latest on this young group’s progression.

Be weary folks, I am in fact posting a mixtape by two 16 year old rappers. I know that’s an immediate turn off for most of you, and I respect that, but if you can, lend your ears to the two youngesters not legally allowed to buy a pack of cigarettes from 7/11. The duo of No Trace has released their sophomore effort, which is perfect because they are also sophomores in high school. Now when you listen through this tape, which I would reccomend, be aware that some of their music might hit you as a tad immature or boyish, but that’s because they’re just that. Forget the lack of beautiful album artwork and other aesthetics and just listen to the raw talent of these kids. These two 16 year olds are setting themselves up for a rap career, the potential is there, and they will likely be cashing in on it in the years to come. So grab the mixtape below and be on the lookout for these two making moves.

Hip-Hop, Videos | No Trace – 5AM in Toronto (Remix)

Posted by on April 28, 2013

I know what most of you are thinking. You’re angry at me for posting a remix to 5AM in Toronto, it’s like three weeks late, I get it. But, this is my first exposure to No Trace’s music and I was shocked. When I got a message from a 16 year old, yes, I said 16 year old, on Facebook, I was expecting the worst. What I got though, was the opposite. Now, you can’t be comparing these guys to Drake, Chance, Cole, etc., yet. They’re 16. They have mad potential and the song is dope. Check it out above and be on the lookout for more from these two, Fresh New Tracks will be tracking their progress closely.
