Albums | Odd Mob Is Down For Love

Posted by on November 15, 2016

Odd Mob strikes back with a new single entitled “Down For Love” graced with newcomer Helen’s catchy vocals. This time, the duo comprised of Robbie and Harry delivers a track fusing Hip Hop and Future Bass. In fact, Odd Mob is constantly on the lookout for new sonorities to play around with, continually developing and growing their own sound. Would it be their 90’s throwback ‘Into You feat. Starley’, which dominated the ARIA club chart at #1 for a record 7 weeks, their Indian influenced track “Origin” or their bass heavy “Gassed Up”, Robbie and Harry are relentlessly experimenting with all of what music has to offer.

“We’re both huge fans of rap/hip-hop in general and basically started playing around with this old sampled drum beat. The whole track built itself around that in no time at all. It’s definitely one of our cleanest/tightest productions to date! We never set any boundaries when we hop in the studio so we’re always making stuff that sounds nothing like what we’ve made before. I mean, back in the day, songwriters only had access to a certain number of sounds, whether it be their guitar/drums or whatever analogue synth they happened to own. Nowadays we can literally use any sound in the whole world, so it just makes sense for us to always be making different music and experimenting with different sounds.” – Odd Mob

Posted by on June 13, 2016

Slip-N-Slide Records’s newest songstress Teenear is back with her latest Kahza produced single “Street Lights” with visuals to match. Building on the success of her considerable “Friday Night” single featuring Sage The Gemini in 2015, the Miami native (who’s only 19) delivers her brand new infectious single that’s about balancing a career and love. Teenear emphasizes the importance of enjoying every moment with the one you love noting, “I wanted to make a really simple video that showed something that would happen in reality,” Teenear said. “It’s two people that go out on a date and they just want to walk around and enjoy each other’s time. in the video we’re walking down a street just dancing, having fun with each other and being in the moment.”

House | KREAM and Mark Asari Bring Us “Another Life”

Posted by on May 30, 2016

The brothers KREAM, a Norway based duo, is back with a brand new offering on Big Beat Records. The single is called “Another Life” and enlists the help of the UK’s Mark Asari. To call this single a “banger” is really doing it a disservice. It’s a massive tune that builds on the success of their “Love You More” single (also on Big Beat) and a catalogue of huge remixes that we’ve had on repeat for months. In an increasingly crowded dance space, KREAM is rising to the top, looking to make a big statement in 2016.

RnB | Get Familiar With Slip-N-Slide’s Brand New “Streetlights” Single By Teenear

The storied Miami based record label, Slip-N-Slide Records, that’s responsible for breaking artists like Rick Ross, Plies, Trina, Plies, and Trick Daddy is back with a brand new artist that just dropped an infectious new RnB inspired singled titled “Streetlights” that I suspect the FreshNewTracks.com faithful will dig. Produced by Malkia “Milk” Hornsy and Kazha “Sizz” Hornsby, “Streetlights” is a dreamy record that details Teenear’s struggle with balancing a love life with a career in music. Dreamy and melodic, “Streetlights” is a precursor to bigger records, dropping this summer via Slip-N-Slide Records.
