If you’ve been following Logic, the VMG movement, and the openers on the tour, you may have become familiar with Miami, FL rhymer, QuESt. QuESt is by no means a new artist to FNT, but he’s been diagnosed with “the skill” and will be the next artist to receive the “VMG treatment”.
QuESt has been patiently waiting behind the scenes, working, learning, anticipating his first move with the independent label that recently birthed Logic, Jon Bellion, 6ix, and GRVTY. Returning with his first video single, “NEATO Season” over Childish Gambino’s “Unnecessary”, Q carries his newly acquired torch as he sets forth on his new episode, spitting flaming metaphors and bars packed with intellect. NEATO: Never Ever Allow The Obscene.
The Miami native, QuEST is back with his latest video single, “Fair Warning” to kick off Neato Season 2013. Sticking his fork into the Doc Dre produced/Eminem owned record, “Evil Deeds”, QuEST exercises some ridiculous lyrical wordplay. Really, this is nothing new from QuEST. He has been continuously slaying tracks, the majority of which are original productions. This beat has always been a gem, but it was never one of my favorites from Eminem off Encore. Nonetheless, it is still Eminem’s track but QuEST triumphantly holds his own.
On a side note, QuEST will be riding the tour bus around the country with Logic, Skizzy Mars, & C. Dot Castro starting this May. Grab your tickets now!
