Leah Haxhi of LahLahLandMusic is an NYC singer/songwriter who blends powerful blues-like vocals and ad-libs over hip hop and electronic-infused beats. In this up-and-coming remix of Hozier’s “Take Me to Church”, premiered here on Fresh New Tracks, you can hear how Leah makes the song her own through sultry vocals.
The track features totally original production by producer Mike Irish through a powerful but beautiful culmination of electronic and orchestral sounds. In addition to vocals, Leah plays her violin to further invite you into her transient land of music.

Before Avicii wore Polo and took “breaks” from his exhaustive tour schedule and spun it as he was spending more time in the studio to make new music for his fans, he was dropping underground hits like “My Feelings For You” with Sebastian Drums. New Jersey’s Spaveech (who looks like he could put Ric Flair in a headlock) puts an unlikely groovy twist on the original that’s impressive to say the last. Pick up this track for the price of a “like” on Spaveech’s fan page. You won’t be disappointed. Woooooo!

I don’t listen to hip-hop. This is why you should listen to Dylan Owen’s new offering int the form of his new “Everything Gets Old” single. It’s deeply introspective and brooding, which I like. Dylan explains, “The single is about a long and lonely overnight drive during which Dylan recalls memories of wanderlust and adventure from my teenage years.” While there’s no question Dylan has matured, so has his music, as he prepares for the release of “There’s More To Life” set for release later this fall. As most of you are eagerly anticipating TomorrowWorld in the next coming weeks, here at FNT we have our eyes set on Amsterdam Dance Event, the most exciting dance event in the world which brings together artists, producers, press agents, labels, managers, journalists, and pretty much anyone or everyone who’s affiliated with dance music and is willing to be a part of this event from October 15 to October 19. Last year Nimada and I attended the event, linking up with DJ Snake, Calvin Harris, Ayah Marar, Duke Dumont, TEED, DJ Shadow and many many more, so it was obvious to us that we had to come back this year. In honor of our attendance we’ve decided to put together the top 5 reasons to attend ADE, and yes it’s Amsterdam, so you can already imagine what the city has to offer, but believe us when we say, we’re going for the music! Wow, it seemed like yesterday that Monstercat was started by its founder Mike Darlington and now three years in, things are bigger and better than anyone could have imagined. The label is not just a platform for artists to release their music on, but a marketing tool to connect with thousands of eager fans worldwide. To celebrate three years, Monstercat got Swedish producer, Didrick, who you may first remember for his remix of “I Can Be The One”, to mix and mash 78 tunes from the monstercat library into one wild 3-minute piece. The visuals to go along with it are the icing on the cake as you see Didrick working a launchpad and keyboard at the same time, while a drummer, guitarist and full backing band help provide the soundtrack to an outstanding three years of Monstercat.
