Posted by on June 23, 2017

Chicago vocalist and multi-instrumentalist NYLO might be busy on the road touring with her friends and longtime influence SOHN, but she’s finally found time to make some music of her own. After recent features with Connor Youngbloog, Emmit Fenn and Roland Tingsit was about time for her own music to drop. Today she delights her listeners and fans with a stunning new single “Time Changes Everything”. We’re big fans of her voice and this is a must listen!

Hip-Hop | Njomza – Explore You (Music Video)

The talented Njomza returns with a brand new track “Explore You” along with a music video,   in which she takes us to Hippyville, USA with a Woodstock-themed video. If this is your first time hearing of Njomza, she has an upcoming album in the works o on Mac Miller’s label REMember, along with projects with Vic Mensa and Rockie Fresh, and quite frankly, I’m excited for all of that! Blending reggae riddims and soulful vocals over jazz composition makes for the perfect vibes! This is by far a must listen!

DO SOMETHING

Hip-Hop | Choo Jackson – Windows

Posted by on February 20, 2014

Choo Jackson releases visuals for “Windows” directed by ElephantxElephan, off his forthcoming sophomore project “Slightly Dark.” The 23-year-old Pennsylvania native is signed to Mac Miller’s REMember Music label, and preaches on this one with a “smooth like leather” flow. The life of an up and coming rapper is not easy, you really have to believe in yourself  no matter what everyone else tells you, and Choo expresses this on his record. We believe in you Choo, your window of opportunity is open and at reach. This is a must listen and look out for his upcoming project!

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller — Objects in the Mirror [Live]

Posted by on May 30, 2013

In anticipation of his upcoming tour and sophomore album, Watching Movies With the Sound Off, due out June 18 (along with Kanye West’s Yeezus and J. Cole’s Born Sinner), Mac lets go of a video in which he performs a new Pharrell-produced cut from the album. While I haven’t always been a fan, he began to show a lot of growth on Macadelic after his disappointing debut, and this song shows that he’s likely headed in the same direction. It’s easy to forget when you watch “Donald Trump” that this 21-year-old is actually a multi-instrumentalist and a pretty gifted songwriter, too. Can’t wait for June 18.

Independent interview series “Music Talks” is back with their second interview linking up with one of the worlds hottest DJs.  After debuting the Music Talks series with an exclusive Mac Miller interview, the crew was able to land a chair next to Mr. Bergling and discuss everything from his personal favorite song, to blondes & brunettes, to the apparent new game of “flip cup”.  It’s not often we see interviews with Avicii, especially ones that touch on his personal side.  The kid may not know how to play flip cup just yet, but it’s fair to say he’s got a decent understanding of this music thing.
