Posted by Mach on March 2, 2012
Quantum has one hell of a release coming this month, there is no official drop date set, but to celebrate it they dropped a remix of it from InContext. This remix is incredible, laid back drum & bass that just floats you through life. The original lyrics are what really pull the track together. Below the remix is the set that Quantum is officially releasing of Eyes & Ryan Keen’s hot upcoming single. Once you listen, you will want it even more than you subconsciously do now.

Hip-Hop | Terence Ryan- Skeletons (Yeah Yeah Yeahs Remix)
Posted by ATexas on February 7, 2012
Does anyone remember Karen O? In all her super anti-hipster/super hipster glory? Well Terence Ryan decided to take Karen O and make a hip hop lovechild. I love this love child. With haunting lyrics and haunting beats its just here to take your soul…but in a totally good way. He discusses God, work and his strife for musical success. Let Karen and Terence transcend you in this amazing must download. Adding to the already amazing tune which the Yeah Yeah Yeahs perfected, Ryan adds a whole new chapter on this song.
Hip-Hop | K’naan ft. Nelly Furtado-Is There Anybody Out There
Posted by ATexas on January 23, 2012
K’Naan is bomb. No songs about how low his chain is or how many biddies he porks, no, just some fulfilling lyrics mixed with huge names. Nelly Furtado throwing down on the chorus mixes with K’naan’s unique style of hip hop. His EP “More Beautiful than Silence” comes out tomorrow and Nelly’s first releases in 6 years is out this spring. Poppy and uplifting “Is There Anybody Out There” embodies both artists’ styles.

Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Dylan Owen – Keep Your Friends Close (EP)
Posted by dshaq on January 22, 2012
This is honestly one of the best pieces of music that I have ever heard. Dylan Owen gives us this brand spankin new 11 song EP. Each song is a phenomenal story with beats to compliment Dylan’s flow. The emotion of the lyrics is what makes this EP so special, each song is just jam-packed with them, and that’s why Dylan is so good, oh and well he raps really good too, because it’s about real life problems and that’s what makes it easy to relate to. With a quality release like this, the sky is the limit for Dylan. So do yourself a favor and make sure you download this.

Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Jetpack Jones – Reincarnation (Mixtape)

I might be a little late on putting this one up but I’d be silly not to. Jetpack Jones hits us with a solid 13 track mixtape, supplying a good flow and going in over quality produced beats. Although there are a lot of short songs they still hit hard. For example, “Marcel” is just 1:26 but that beat and the meaning behind the lyrics, which are about his little brother, make it worthwhile. Go over and like his Facebook Page, and make sure you check back for more Jetpack.

Hip-Hop | Bei Maejor-Fell in Love on the Dancefloor
Posted by ATexas on January 9, 2012
Bei-bay is throwing out something new and different…well, for Bei Maejor that is. Usually with chill dropped beats and witty lyrics, Bei is dropping a dance-ish mix. Maybe all his work with Mike Posner inspired him to expand his horizons. Its fun to dance to, but its strange that its Bei. Jury is out on how comfortable I feel. More importantly though its fun to spin and jump around to, basically the main two requirements for creating a dance-ish pop/R&B song.
