In stark contrast to the original version of the track, Pleather comes through with a unique and smooth take on Stafford Brothers’s Cash Money single “Hello”. Switching gears from the original, the remix feels more like an 80s love ballad than a club anthem. In my opinion, the production fits the vocals of Christina Milian and Lil Wayne even better than the original. I listened to the first four minutes of the mixtape and I heard no less than 30 lighter sparks. I kid you not. On a 1-10 scale of glad trash bags, this mixtape is straight trash. The only place this mixtape is going is to my trash bin. Side note: Who in the hell is purchasing trukfit? Perhaps the only redeeming quality of this entire project is that Lil Wayne’s weed carries recruited “Lil Mouse,” who’s a testament to an epidemic of poor parenting currently sweeping the nation, to be featured on the tape. It’s really over for Dwayne Carter. He’s well past his prime, and his contemporaries have surpassed him in creativity and style. It’s time for him to ride off into the sunset on his board with leopard jeggings on and peddle low-brow skateboarding and vodka brands they sell at CVS. Don’t forget to back slide heel flip to triple darkslide, brah.
