Albums | Berlin-based rapper Feloneye Releases New Single “Zoom”

Posted by on October 2, 2022

“Zoom” is without a doubt one of the more hype tracks I’ve heard all week. Feloneye is a Berlin based rapper on the come up who really killed his latest drop, “Zoom”. The beat is what initially drew me in due to the catchy brass line and overall high energy vibe to it but he seriously killed this one. From the hook that will be caught in your head the next week, to the lyrically witty verses, he really snapped here. Tap in to the banger above now, that also comes with a sick music video, and read a quote from Feloneye on his new track below!

“‘Zoom’ is about how I could never trust no woman, only trusting the homies, doing things on the streets, how I’m still on my own even though I ain’t alone in this evil world we live in, still hustling in my zone type of vibes. Like always when I’m in the studio with 4RAS and Or1gin, we started laying down the instruments, started vibing, put the kicks and bass on the track and then we freestyled to it ‘til something started hitting. As the first session was done, the owner of the studio pulled up and said ‘thank you for getting the trumpets stuck in my head.’

Bass, Trap | STRX Shares Stunning Pop-Trap Single, “Shadows” Featuring Ava Silver

Posted by on May 13, 2022

Marking his debut on acclaimed label Frequency Music, STRX has returned to the scene with what might be one of his heaviest releases to date, bringing together atmospheric verses and bass-driven drops on “Shadows.” Incorporating the vocal talents of Ava Silver, “Shadows” is a truly versatile tune that is bound to start lighting up dancefloors in no time, and become a staple in STRX’s energetic sets.

“In the midst of the pandemic, I found myself feeling hopeless and somewhat depressed sometimes. The negative voices in my head naturally transferred onto the music script, even though I was trying to make uplifting club music. As a result of this crossover between energy & vulnerability, ‘Shadows’ was born. Due to the extent to which this feeling was relatable to Ava Silver, we managed to make a vocal that perfectly connected. All in all, we created a piece with a message that I hope people can relate to and get empowered by,” said the producer.

An accomplished musician and producer, STRX has been playing the drums for more than 10 years now. With a strong drive and ambition to find his own path within the music world, STRX oftentimes blends multiple genres into one song, while infusing his energetic sets with trap, dubstep and psytrance, aiming to tell a story to the audience.

Indie | Dennyiah Drop Video for “Sense Of The Rain”

Posted by on January 7, 2022

Slovakian indie band Dennyiah return with one of their most captivating and hybrid releases to date, “Sense of the Rain”. This is the first piece of music I’ve heard by the band but this one is something unique and a great listen. Dennyiah, consisting of lead vocalist Denny and guitarist Lubos, the two-piece fuse pop, soul, country and blues to create their distinctive style and are known for never being limited to one sound. Tune into the visual for “Sense of the Rain” above now and read a quote from Dennyiah below on the release!

“It’s about the elusive sensation of an invincible life force coming from within. Losing the ego and idealised and pre-constructed idea of self. That’s when nothing around changes. The only thing that changes is your perception and the fact that it doesn’t have the power to go under your skin anymore because it’s always been disconnected from the true within. Bad things good things – it’s all the same – what matters is how much you let it drag you down. This song speaks about the short moment of enlightenment, about the deep connection to everything without the heaviness of reaction.”

Bass | INF1N1TE Drops First Release Of The Year “IN My Head”

Posted by on February 12, 2018

“In My Head” show INF1N1TE has done it again. Yet this doesn’t do justice to the subtlety and intelligence of the track as a whole, which uses Tom-Waite-like deep bass and a gripping rhythm to really ensconce itself in your head. It is a synapse forming, neuron firing track, which you won’t be able to help listening to over and over again. It hovers in the space between strict electro music and drum and bass, and is a must listen to anyone interested in either genre.

INF1N1TE has had years of experience and is set to go even bigger in 2018, with shows, more music, and collaborations all planned soon.
