A bit different than what we are used to hearing from the Bixel Boys, the SO Cal duo have been tabbed by Armada Music to remix Thomas Newson’s recent single “Don’t Hold Us” with the angelic vocals of Angelika Vee. Preview the full tune below as we see their ability to expand beyond their comfort zones and try something new. The tune hits stores digitally on May 19th, so be sure to grab it then. Young Dutch phenom, the man responsible for hits like “Pallaroid” and “Flute“, Thomas Newson is back with anther tune that is a decidedly different tone and style from his previous productions. “Don’t Hold Us” is paired with the progressive house branch of Armada, Zouk, where this tune will work well within his discography and the label’s. Newson has collabs on the way with Bassjackers and Blinders, so don’t expect him to quiet down anytime soon. “Don’t Hold Us” is slated for release February 24th, so be on the lookout for it then.

Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Schoolboy Q, and Hollis release their visuals for “White Walls.” This is probably one of my favorite track off “The Heist,” and though Mack and Ryan didn’t go as in with this video as they did with “Can’t Hold Us,” they still manage to write and direct a stand out music video.
