We had a chance to meet Alxxa over the weekend in Los Angeles and she’s the real deal. Her brand new take on Rihanna & Jay-Z’s “Umbrella” has us instantly hooked. Of the Gazzo produced cover she said:
“’Umbrella’ is such a badass song, and Gazzo and I knew we could do something different with it. That’s always the test of a good song, whether it’s stripped down, produced out, thrown into different genres, does it still work? Rihanna definitely got it right with this one and we had a good time putting our own spin to it.”

Aash Mehta has been on a roll! Having recently dropped remixes for Kap Slap, Gazzo, and Molly Moore – Aash is back with a remix of Elephante’s newest track, “Closer”. Aash said it perfectly, so I’ll let him do the talking here: “I had the honor of sharing the stage with Elephante about a few months ago in Detroit – and when he dropped this track at the show, I instantly fell in love. Showing off more of an experimental side, Gazzo releases a chill remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” a single that was in the movie 50 Shades Of Grey as well as the motion picture soundtrack. Now, a fully remixed album from tracks featured on the soundtrack is set to release, Gazzo’s tune is one of them, making this track an official Ellie Goulding remix. Usually with lineups like this you’re paying an outrageous amount of money for a festival pass and are surrounded by sweaty fans who are all two feet taller than you blocking your view of the stage. The man, the myth, and the legend Kap Slap is coming through huge for LA and offering one of the best lineups for an individual show we’ve seen at just $20. Gazzo has been killing it lately, coming off a #1 on Hypem with White Panda of their Naughty Boy ft Sam Smith “La La La” remix, 10,000 followers on SoundCloud and 40,000 likes on Facebook, and today the man just wants to give the love back to his fans with an original “Love Song” featuring vocals by Jeff Greenspan. For you rocker heads, or those who had their emo phase back in high school, you might pick up on elements from The Cure’s “Lovesong” and your’e not wrong! Staring outside my window and there’s a lot of snow. With this said NJ producer Gazzo remixed a blues classic “Cocaine” by Eric Clapton, and he fed the original a couple lines of benzoylmethylecgonine aka the white girl, making it more alive! This isn’t your hippy parent’s old school track, this one’s more potent with a drop that doesn’t fuck around. I can only imagine this one getting dropped at a festival, and I have a strong feeling it will, considering Gazzo has been receiving the support of Hardwell, Cash Cash and more with his latest remixes! This is a must listen and a must download!
