Antonio Cuna, formally known as Sweater Beats, based of of New York, dropped his That Feel EP a couple months ago and man, this is H.O.T. “Feel Me” of the That Feel EP is an instrumental straight off of a mastered Drake track. The integration of the plucking strings and the bouncing kick brings about a certain type of beat that really puts an emphasis on the project name That Feel.

Anjunabeats revelation ilan Bluestone has released his three track EP, after “Big Ben” was premiered fittingly by Above & Beyond at Alexandria Palace in London for ABGT 50. The title track “Big Ben” may garner the most attention and pass the “anthem test” for most, but do not sleep on the rest of the EP. “Alysium” and “Waves Of LA” have the vintage ilan Bluestone sound with soaring synth driven melodies, fluttering piano and thumping basslines. We have had to endure all of this time with only one ilan Bluestone tune at a time, so we are spoiled getting three all at once.

I can’t tell you what it is, but something about funk music just gets me. So groovy, so upbeat, so perfect. Today we have Resonant Frequency’s brand new EP, 4sight, and boy is it a good one. It’s been a little while since we last heard from Pierce Fulton, but he is back in 2014 with a vengeance, ready to commence his release schedule with a bang. Just In time for WMC, he previews his first originals since “Where We Were” last August. “Old Man & The Sea” was first premiered at his debut headlining Webster Hall show in October and has since been number one priority for his fans. He packages that with another equally melodic tune “Runaway” that features some rare male vocals, but is something that works on his tunes, as seen with his “Don’t Be Afraid” remix. The EP is coming March 31st, so get ready.

“Sweat” was posted on FNT last summer and was featured in radio shows and previews. Now we finally have the release we were all anxiously awaiting! This three track EP is absolute sex. Skit & Tijani create a simple, smooth vibe in this EP filled with passion and emotion. My favorite track is the title track “Sweat” but they are all fantastic. You can grab this excellently produced EP off of Itunes, and I threw in the music video for “Sweat” as well so you could see the visuals they chose.

Deep House | Dinnerdate – Going On

Dinnerdate has been cranking out tunes lately. We are just seeing the fruits of his labor, but what is going on in his Munich studio is incredible with some outstanding, soothing deep house. He first got his acclaim for some highly touted remixes for José González and Editors, and now is applying his skills to originals. He was recently featured on Kitsuné’s New Faces compilation and has an EP coming very soon this spring. “Going On” is a free original to get you ready for that and shows the continues growth by the German producer with fitting vocal samples, groovy bass lines and soft and purposeful melodies.
