LA-based Justin Jay has just released his 3 track EP on Pets Recordings, Momentum, and the young producer really pulled out all the stops to show us that he can produce every kind of deep. Long-time fans of the rising artist will be ecstatic to hear “How I Knew” for its intricate funk and bass elements that are also present in “Momentum.” With the title track, Justin Jay and Kill Frenzy channel their inner dark sides to spawn a creation that is meant for those warehouse parties where you don’t know what time it is that resonates closely to their previous collaboration. Finally, “You Give Me Butterflies” makes us never want to grow up because Justin Jay uses his airy synths and wistful FXs to make us truly feel those butterflies inside. With Momentum being his fourth EP, you can bet that Justin Jay has just begun his reign of rhythm and will continue on to reach for the stars in the coming future. Grab the EP here and enjoy!

Coming hot out of Philly, rising star Louis Futon developed quite the reputation and fan base amongst future bass fans. His distinct mixture of hip-hop, bass, melodic dubstep, and trap has evolved a sound that carves a niche for the producer in a crowded space. To take his career to the next level, Futon has released his self-titled EP for free download, although it will be uploaded to iTunes, Spotify, and Beatport on February 2nd. The aspiring producer already unveiled two singles, “Sir Rock” and “DRNUK,” but adds two new originals, “Silk” and “Take Off,” as well as remixes by Kill Paris, Tijani, and Kasbo. With so many tracks to choose from, fans will sure find one if not all the tracks that they can jam out to. Download the full EP at LouisFutonBeats.com.

Zurich’s very own, Croatia Squad, are back it again. This time in the form of their latest three track “Work It” EP that includes “Milking”. Sampling Kelis’s classic “Milkshake” record, Croatia Squad have flipped the original into a groovy bass heavy tune of epic proportions. Every song on the EP is great, however, this is my favorite from the bunch. Grab “Work It” available on Beatport now. Incredible vibes. Tune!

Exclusive, Featured, House | FNT Premiere: Audio District – Reach For The Sky (LIFELIKE “Radio – Pop” Remix)

Reportage af bandet AUDIO DISTRICT
Danish disco, synth-pop trio Audio District have released the full EP for their new single “Reach For The Sky”. It includes not only the 80s-tinged original, but also some remixes from Rouze & Daytona and Lifelike. We are here to premiere the full stream of French producer Lifelike’s full remix. Lifelike adds some more sophistication to the tune, with airy synths that mesh impeccably with Audio District’s vocals over a simple and easy bass line. They add their french touch to the tune. Grab this remix and full package on iTunes or Beatport.

Electro-House, Progressive House | Draper – Perspectives EP

Draper - Perspectives EP
Monstercat has been great at supporting up and coming acts right when they are getting noticed. For that reason I have found some releases to sound a little unpolished, but you have to take a step back and look at the overall talent of these kids. One release that sounds polished and arising from UK producer, Draper. The opening track “Coloured Glass” was previewed last week and has taken off across the internet, but now we are able to hear the rest of the EP. My two favorites are the bookending tunes that have totally different tones, with the energetic melodies in “Coloured Glass” and the soothing pads of “With You”. Grab the EP on iTunes and Beatport now!
