FNT welcome new comer Jess Marquis with his latest remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Burn,” an uplifting club progressive house take on the UK vocalist’s tune. I first heard this track when Jess played it at his residency for Brite Nites at Webster Hall a few weeks back, and my first comment to him after his set was: “I need that remix!” I’m all about uplifting feel good tracks with bright piano chords, and a ton of soul, and let’s just say he turned this mainstream drum n bass record into an anthem! So many Ellie Goulding “Burn” remixes out there, but this one by Robot Dentist takes it by far! Irony of the sort, I don’t think we’ve seen the full potential of Ellie’s record “Burn,” considering she’s still running on “I Need Your Love.” Either way, Chicago local DJ/Producer Robot Dentist layers Mrs. Goulding’s vocals on a masterly orchestrated progressive production. I hate to do this to ya’ll on a Monday morning, listening to this track might make you want to go back to sleep, but this track is just too damn good. Scouting the internet for some new music, I noticed Tiesto remixed Ellie Goulding’s most recent record “Burn,” and being the unconventional type, I looked into other remixes of “Burn” that are out there. I fell on Maths Time Joy’s official remix of the record, peeped his SoundCloud, and I discovered this beauty, “Let Go” by Maths Time Joy remixed by Manila Killa . This is a very chill, laid back tune, one that you can vibe with, so just let it flow… It’s a must listen and a must download! Have yourself a great day!
