Moombahton | Moombah Monday

It is Moombah Monday again, and we have your fix of Moombah bangers. I am surprised at how much more moombah tracks are being made recently, and I must say I am pretty pleased. Looks like people are getting the hang of it. I feel it is only a matter of time until some new big names take it on, like Dillon Francis and Nadastrom have.

 

This first track is a little bit heavy as far as moombahton goes, but has been getting support from some big names such as Knife Party.

JoNny Chino never dissapoints as far as Moombahton tracks go. This one is a little bit more chilled than the rest but it is still a good remix.

This is my favorite remix of the bunch. Oh, Beats! brings a nice new flavor to the track and creates a Moombah masterpiece.

Moombahton is on the rise, and honestly I love everything it has to offer.  One avid promoter of the genre is Skrillex; who took Nadastrom and Dillon Francis on part of his Mothership Tour to help spread the word. TMH did a sick job turning this track into a moombah banger. I wouldn’t be surprised if some big names got a hold of this track and started dropping it live.

Dillon Francis drops two jams with that sick rhythmic bassline; cop them on Beatport here. The first song sounds like a solid blend of Mord Fustang & Skrillex (or more specifically, Milky Way + Reptile).

Electro, House | Tim Mason Preview, Dillon Francis, Michael Woods & More

Another EDM artist taking an indie song and making it good, I can live with that. You are all aware of Dillon Francis’s Beautician, a must download back in April. Here he comes back with version number two with a different feel, but still an amazing song nonetheless. It is much more chill with less dubstep and more along the lines of his moombahton work, but it is still a great song. It is on the maddecent compilation out today on beatport and since Dillon Francis is such a boss support the man.

Since I didn’t give you guys a download up there I feel bad so here are house tunes to make you feel better. Here is Michael Woods’ latest single Bullet. It is a song with some great synth work with wonderfully crafted builds and drops throughout.

This John Dahlback and Henrik B song is a part of EDX’s No Xcuses compilation on Armada Music. It is a great CD with a lot of quality songs so I would recommend checking it out, but out of the new tracks, this is one of the best. The piano work is phenomenal to create a more relaxed song that just rolls from drop to drop.

Dubstep | Cory Enemy & Dillon Francis, Haydn Hoffman, and Muffler

This is some sexy dubstep. Dillon Francis has been dropping quite a bit of Moombahton lately, which is what I was expecting from this track. Glad to see he likes to mix it up with friends a bit, giving us this awesome track.

This remix has a great bassline mixed in, and I love the samples he used also. The drop has a kind of Skrillex style to it. That blended with some good old Avicii leaves us with something worth bumping to.

Moombahton | Dillon Francis and Skrillex & Diplo | Moombahton

I was debating just throwing Moombathon tracks with electro post, but it’s gotten so popular it deserves its own. Dillon Francis usually does dubbier sounding tracks. This new one of his is lighter, but no complaints from me.

Props to Middy for the youtube post of this track. Diplo dropped a mix on soundcloud a few days ago with a preview of this track squeezed in silently. I dont know who Kristian is, but thanks for editing this preview to be a little longer. I have to give both Skrillex and Diplo insane credit on their music careers. Neither of them settle on just one style of music and their great skills continue through everything they do.
