House, Preview | Kiesza – Hideaway (Bixel Boys Remix) [Preview]
Posted by Middy on May 15, 2014
On the eve of their show at Webster Hall tomorrow (we may have some words with them, not like the words they have in hockey, but real ones), the Bixel Boys preview a new remix, this time for Canadian songstress Kiesza. “Hideaway” has quietly become an underground sensation with remixes already in the books by the likes of Gorgon City and Dzeko & Torres, with many more to come. Drawing us back in to the smooth and sexy sound we know from them after a more aggressive effort for Thomas Newson, the California duo create a jam fit for their own coasts and your pools. There is no release date yet, but we hope it is this summer so you can jam poolside.

EFIX & Flint did not hold back their emotions for their official remix of Steffen Linck’ “Sticks & Stones” released under Boy’s Deep. Dedicating this record to his mother, EFIX said this was his most sentimental music piece to date, and it must be the violin that takes it there. Spare 5 minutes out of your day and listen to this beauty, you won’t regret it, it gets deep! This is a must listen and look out for the release! If you like what you hear check more of these two’s work here.
Hip-Hop, RnB | William Bolton – Let’s Stay Together (prod. by Times New Roman)

Though he’s known by his production name, Times New Roman, the lyrical version of this incredibly integrating producer is equally as impressive. William Bolton’s “Let’s Stay Together” is self produced and about to go viral. The beat is all to catchy with original lyrics that will win you over from the get go. Peep this platinum below and keep up to date with this up-and-coming artist.
Indie, Progressive House | Bastille – Flaws (The Chainsmokers Remix)
Posted by Mel on February 19, 2014
There’s not really anything left to say about The Chainsmokers or a song of theirs that hasn’t already been said, so I’m going to write a paragraph saying all those things again anyway. The follow up to their godforsaken awesomely cool original “#Selfie” is an official remix for Bastille. Their version of “Flaws” has the same light progressive house infused with indie sound that many of their previous stuff does so if you’ve listened to a song of theirs before then you should know what to expect from this. The release date is currently unknown though if I were to have a guess, I would say either some time relatively soon or possibly later in the year.
Progressive House | Richard Knott – Push
Posted by Middy on February 13, 2014

Ahhhhh, some real, bonafide progressive. Richard Knott was thrust into the spotlight when his tune “Locus Solus” was released on Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends, a fine destination for his tracks, but has since fallen out of the general public’s eye. A lot of his songs are free releases and here the UK producer is back with another “Push” with its delicate arps, carefully constructed melodies, and strong bass line that makes this one of his best original efforts to date.

Electro, Hip-Hop, Rap | Galimatias & Joppe – One Step Back (ft. GoldLink)
Posted by admin on February 13, 2014
After proving he could conquer a “typical” hip-hop beat, spitting atop Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Pt. 2”, GoldLink is back in his production wheelhouse with the dreamy-deephouse sounds of Galimatias and Joppe. The two Danish producers have been making music together for some time now, and luckily they connected with the Virginia native through the future production label, Soulection.
The song has already amassed an astounding twenty thousand plays in the first 24-hours, and shows no signs of slowing down! Although, “One Step Back” will not be a part of GoldLink’s upcoming project, The God Complex, it’s a very strong addition to his musical catalogue. Enjoy the free download and be on the look out for an official release date of The God Complex sometime next week.
Progressive House | Ellie Goulding – Goodness Gracious (The Chainsmokers Remix)
Posted by Mel on January 21, 2014
An official remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Goodness Gracious” is the third release in January so far for The Chainsmokers and with their first original coming out next week, they are having an incredibly strong start to the year. They say this is their favorite remix they have done in a while and understandably so because it is one of their best productions. A lot of people say that Drew and Alex of The Chainsmokers are nothing more than one good looking guy and one okay looking guy (Alex) but that is clearly not the case. They had a huge year in 2013 and they are on pace to have an even bigger 2014. No word yet on the release date.
